Journaling from the artist: "I used to swim. All I wanted to do was swim long distances - all alone. Mother had fits, she was afraid, she pounded fear into us. Dad would say "Don't worry about it, kid, you're a good egg." Mom would say "Paul leave her alone.""
Journaling from the artist: "My son had a sailboat. I never went on it. I don't swim. I almost didn't graduate school because of that."
Journaling from the artist: "I think of a beautiful sunny day when I think of nature. Bright colors like a blue sky. I see a red cardinal outside. I love being outside in nature. I played UNO when I went up north. I love everything but the snow! I had a bunch of kayaks up north on the lakes. We had pool games - people just did what they wanted."
