Where is the gala taking place? The UNIS Fundraiser Gala will take place at The View at The Battery in Battery Park. The address is 1 Battery Park Pl, New York, NY 10004.

  • Subway: Take the 1 Downtown train to South Ferry Station. Exit train at South Ferry and follow signs for State Street / Whitehall St. From POV looking at the Staten Island Ferry, The View at The Battery will be to the right, in the park.  Take the Downtown 4 or 5 to Bowling Green.  Exit at Battery Pl / State St / Broadway. Proceed straight on State Street to Park Entrance, located opposite 17 State St. NY, NY 10004  Sea Glass Carousel, and Children's Playground will be visible, as well as The View at The Battery. 
  • Bus: Take M15 to South Ferry cross the street and walk south west towards the entrance to the Park.  The Sea Glass Carousel and the Children's Playground. The View at The Battery is straight ahead on the left.

Is there parking available?  The nearest parking garage is located at 85 Whitehall St. New York, NY 10004 


What night do I get a babysitter? Thursday, February 27th, 2025.  The event is from 6:30-10:30 pm.

 

What is the dress code? National dress and formal attire are encouraged. Let's make our theme shine through!

 

What does my ticket cost include? Ticket costs include access to the event, food, beverages, entertainment, and a donation of $25 toward the UNIS Fund.


When does the early bird ticket pricing end? The early bird ticket price of $300 ends on Friday, January 24th. Tickets purchased after this date will be $350.


Will a paper ticket be mailed to me?  Physical tickets will not be issued. All attendees are recorded online and will be checked into the event upon arrival.

 

I'm volunteering. Do I need to buy a ticket? All volunteers require a ticket to attend. 


How can I contribute to the fundraiser? You can buy tickets to attend the gala, sponsor staff tickets to the gala, donate auction items for our silent auction, become a sponsor of the event, buy a page in the evening program to place an ad or write a personalized message to our honoree Kimxuan Brezinsky, or make a cash donation to the UNIS Fund. All of these can be done through our event's home page www.unis.org/gala2025.


Can I bring children? This is an adults-only event. As alcohol is served in the event, attendees must be 21 or older per venue requirements.
