We have been watching the success of breeding L1 females to power polled bulls for some time. When the opportunity came to purchase the Sadler cow herd we couldn't resist. Brent had assembled the finest of Holden genetics for several years, with the dam of 2M, 0108H, perhaps being the most elite, followed closely by her dam 3242A (which is also the dam of the Lot 15 bred heifer). Our verbiage inherently gets repetitive when we talk about a female being able to produce a good herd bull, because that's what TH is all about. We believe in flawless udders, but on top of that they must possess the phenotype to produce massive-middled, heavy-muscled male progeny. 2M exhibits just that.
