Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday observed on the eve of Oct. 31 - Nov. 2nd. It is a time to remember and honor the lives of those lost through prayer, food, music, and family gatherings. This year Heart of the City is celebrating by hosting a Dia de los Muertos themed Sip 'n' Paint to raise funds for our soccer and youth development programs that serve 1,000+ children a year.

Join us on Sunday, November 3rd at 11:00 AM at Nightshade And Dark's Pandemonium Brewing in Waukegan! Your ticket provides you with an 11x14 canvas, paints, guidance from a professional artist, brunch bites, one complimentary drink, and a cash bar. Come learn about how Dia de los Muertos is celebrated in Mexico, while supporting student-athletes in Lake County. Bring your friends and show us your painting skills, all in support of a good cause!
