2nd Annual Glen Ellyn Witches Ride

October 27, 2024 4:00 pm

Join us on Sunday October 27th at 4pm!

Grab your hats & broomcycles and ride through the streets, tossing candy to young goblins, and spreading Halloween joy along the bike parade route. Dress in your Witchy finest and invite family and friends to watch the amazing spectacle as the witches descend on Glen Ellyn and raise money for Glen Ellyn Infant Welfare.

Details for Witches:

  • Witches will congregate at Sunset Pool Parking Lot (483 Fairview Ave) at 4:00pm to prepare for the ride to begin at 4:30pm
  • Come in costume and bring your own candy to toss! *PRO TIP* Make sure to secure your hat - the wind WILL catch them!
  • The ride will be short and leisurely - think bike parade, not bike race!
  • A Witching Hour will commence immediately after the ride at Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn where we will park our brooms and enjoy some brews together to celebrate the season!

Details for Goblins:

Check out the parade route and line your children up on the streets of our village to see the Spectacle of the Witches Ride! Don't live near the route? Lincoln Elementary, Main Street Rec Center, and the Prairie Path downtown will be great viewing and treat catching locations!

Stay Safe!
The witches will be riding at a leisurely pace, but streets will not be closed to cars, so keep your little goblins out of the street during the ride!

A donation of any amount registers you for the event.

Please share with family and friends to help make this event the best it can be! The more witches the merrier!
