El Gallo

36 1/4" x 48 1/2" Painting El Gallo was born from the vibrant energy I experienced during my first Bonnaroo festival in 2023. Immersed in a joyous atmosphere of love, music, and art, I found myself surrounded by what felt like millions of friends-strangers united in a shared celebration of life. This piece captures the essence of that transformative experience, where colors, emotions, and creativity collide in a symphony of freedom. As my first abstract work, El Gallo represents a pivotal moment in my artistic journey. The name, meaning "The Rooster" in Spanish, reflects the piece's loud and awakening spirit-a fierce call to embrace righteousness and vitality. The bold, vibrant strokes mirror the festival's explosion of color and energy, creating a visual celebration that feels like a festival in itself.

24" X 18" Painting "These pieces mean the world to me. Painting has been a way for me to express all of the emotions and experiences that I did not have words for. These pieces tell a story of yearning to be in control while losing control and learning that control is an illusion. They taught me I must trust and believe in myself.
