The Emelin Theatre is a non-profit organization that brings world class performing arts to Westchester.

Promoting a cultural life that entertains and invigorates our audience, the Emelin presents music, comedy, dance, family theatre, and a broad range of independent and contemporary film. We provide a venue for many social and cultural organizations to further enhance cultural life in our region by presenting their art form or social service.

Community Impact

Core to the Emelin's mission is providing access to the arts to those who would not otherwise be able to experience a live performance.

Recent examples of Emelin's service to the community include:

Our School Outreach program provides over 4,000 subsidized tickets
An additional 400 free tickets were given to Title 1 schools
Local underserved families enjoyed hundreds of free Emelin tickets
Our free summer concerts held in collaboration with the Village of Mamaroneck attracted 4,000 attendees over the last two summers
In collaboration with local arts schools, the Emelin hosted 9,000 people to watch young artists take the stage
