Game Tickets purchased through this website will be available for pick up when you check in for the event. These tickets are your entries for our midway games and activities throughout the evening and are a key part of our fundraising efforts during the event. They are also your chances to win fabulous and unique Walnut Street Theatre packages and experiences. The more you buy, the better your chances could be to win!

A cross between "Family Feud", "Jeopardy" and "Pyramid", this game is specifically created for your event and features categories based on your group and their interests - so even if they lose, they still feel like winners. Great for team building, ice breaking, or just a fun night out. Can be hosted at your home, office, or in the Independence Studio on 3 at the Walnut. Get your buzzer fingers warmed up and be ready to play this one-of-a-kind game night!

Made exclusively for the Walnut Street Theatre, Joseph Palmerio presents an expansive sunflower scene with oil on canvas.

Mr. Palmerio has been a resident of Sarasota for 32 years. He is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Philadelphia and the Barnes Foundation. He also studied Sculpture at the Frudakis Academy, and metal sculpture at Tyler School of Art, Temple University. He starred in the short art film "A Lot in Common," which was in the Sarasota Film Festival in 2011. He taught painting in community arts centers in Philadelphia, and Colorado, and spent seven years teaching physically challenged adults in Philadelphia. He is in numerous private collections, throughout the country. He was the Everglades Artist in Residence in 2003, and interviewed on National Public Radio, Arts Edition, with Amy Tardiff. The Sarasota Herald Tribune wrote a comprehensive article on him in the Sunday edition of September 28, 2003. He was voted in the top 100 Paint America show in the Coutts Museum in Kansas in 2010. Mr. Palmerio was the artist in residence for the Great Sand Dunes National Park, in Sept. of 2011. He has also completed numerous corporate murals. Class can be either virtual or in person and is 60 minutes.

This image shows the nineteenth century eagle that hung above the proscenium arch until the 1969 renovation. Although there is no documentary evidence concerning the eagle, the only clue to the date is the number of stars on the shield. There are thirty-five stars, which would place the carving between June 1863 when West Virginia became the thirty-fifth state and October 1864 when Nevada entered the Union. Today, the eagle hangs in the mezzanine lobby.
