Batik Throw by Kathryn Wenderski. The cotton prints in these throws are made by the Indonesian traditional method of batik. The patterns are achieved by a wax relief process. The fabric is then dyed by hand-dipping it in a series of baths, a different bath for each color. Throw is 43" x 43".

The seminal Norman Rockwell artwork, "Saturday People" is a rare piece of art with only 200 limited editions of the image being published and even fewer artists proofs.

Created for the October 1966 edition of McCall's Magazine, the piece was completely inspired by the tale of a thirteen-year-old girl with her golden hair named Leslie. She lived in mid-Manhattan and was excited by her world there, her imagination activated.

To further exemplify her imagination, Rockwell portraits of over thirteen celebrities and socialites of the time are among the notables who move through the image.

A limited edition sericel of Bugs Bunny in the boxing ring. A sericel is an image that has been specifically designed for the collector's marker and produced utilizing silkscreen techniques. The image is hand-inked onto a master cel from which the serigrapher then creates silkscreened lines for the special limited edition. Hand-cut screens are created for each of the vibrant colors of the sericel. Upon completion of the silkscreening process, the screens are destroyed. Each bears the official Warner Bros. Studio seal. The framed piece is 21" X 24".

The image entitled Faces is an intaglio print which has been printed from an etched metal plate. Says Bruce Zander, "The print started as a photograph I took while in the town of Calahorra in northern Spain. The photograph was transferred to the etched plate in preparation for printing. The final print was hand-painted using gouache paints. This print conveys the thought that art can be found in unexpected places -- including a fence that surrounds an apartment complex." The framed piece is 23" x 27".
