2nd Annual Tyler Meyer Memorial Golf Tournament

We are excited to invite you to the 2nd Annual Tyler Meyer Memorial Golf Tournament on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025, at Quit-Qui-Oc Golf Club in Elkhart Lake, WI. This event honors our son, Tyler Richard Meyer, a dedicated Sheboygan firefighter who passed away unexpectedly on October 4th, 2023, from an illness. Tyler's commitment to serving others was unmatched, and we aim to continue his legacy. 
 
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tyler Meyer Memorial Scholarship Fund, established by the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation (PFFWCF). This fund supports students pursuing careers as firefighters, EMTs, or paramedics-fields that meant so much to Tyler. We hope you'll join us in celebrating his life and making a meaningful impact. A part of the proceeds will also be donated to the PFFWCF's Summer Camp for Burn Injured Youth. 
 
About Tyler: 
Tyler passed away at age 38 after a sudden illness. He was a proud Kettle Moraine High School graduate, completed his Associate Degree in Firefighting at WCTC, and became a Paramedic in 2006. Tyler served with multiple fire departments, including the Sheboygan Fire Department, where he was nearing 16 years of service. He also taught at Lakeshore Technical College, helping guide the next generation of first responders. 
 
Outside of work, Tyler was passionate about the outdoors, hunting with his retriever, Henry, and never missed a family Thanksgiving. He is survived by his parents, Steve and Joni Meyer, siblings Nathan and Hayley, and many loving relatives and friends.
