A Fernbank father and lawyer offers one adult winner a chance to see the Fulton County criminal court system in action. The winning bidder will accompany the donor to first appearance hearings at the jail and/or court hearings at the Fulton County Courthouse. This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the criminal legal system from the perspective of an attorney who has worked for years on litigation aimed at reform and who has represented individuals on death row. Given the serious nature of the subject matter, the winner is asked to bring a respectful attitude to everyone who works in or comes into contact with the courts and to have an open mind to learning about the system's impacts on the community.
