Any tax obligations related to the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner and may be withheld from the winnings by Fenwick High School, subject to IRS requirements. Renovated and redesigned in 2024, Course #3 is Medinah Country Club's championship golf course. Originally designed by Tom Bendelow, and redesigned by OCM in 2024, the newly transformed course offers larger greens, bigger scale bunkers and wider fairways combined with more open vistas and broad areas of long fescue rough. Course #3 has played host to three Western Opens, three U.S Opens, two PGA Championships, the 2012 Ryder Cup, the 2019 BMW Championship, and will play host to the 2026 Presidents Cup.

The nationally ranked North Course at Olympia Fields Country Club is one of Golf Digest's "Top 100 Greatest Courses".
The North Course - formerly the club's No. 4 Course - was designed in 1923 by Musselburgh native Willie Park Jr., two time (1887 and 1889) Open Champion and grandfather of inland golf design. Although Park's work includes more than 100 golf courses worldwide, including timeless masterpieces at Sunningdale and Maidstone, the North Course at Olympia Fields is often regarded as Park's greatest achievement - not just by contemporary critics, but by Park himself, who concluded, "I have examined thousands of places adaptable for the ideal golf course, both in Europe and America, but I have never seen a more natural setting for a championship course. I am satisfied now that your number IV course is the equal of any golf course I have ever seen and I know of none that is superior, either in beauty or natural terrain."

The North Course remains steadfastly faithful to Park's original design, with precious few changes over the decades other than deepened bunkers and additional length. Par for the North Course is 70 strokes played over 7,353 yards with a rating of 76.6 and a slope of 150. The North Course is routed over naturally rolling terrain, and makes liberal use of Butterfield Creek, which winds its way through seven holes, including twice on numbers 12 and 14. The North Course had been ranked continually by Golf Digest as one of America's "Top 100 Greatest Courses," and in 2023-2024 enjoys the ranking of No. 99 ( among all golf courses - both classic and modern - in the United States of America. The North Course is also ranked No. 65 on Golfweek's 2022 list of "Best Classic Courses." The course record is 61, shot by Viktor Hovland at the 2023 BMW Championship.

La Grange Country Club, established in 1899, became one of the earliest golf clubs in the greater Chicago area. Golf course architect, Herbert Tweedie, designed the first course, a challenging 9-hole layout, located at the southeast corner of 47th Street and La Grange Road. The Club's original clubhouse, an H. Van Doren Shaw building, was relocated to its current location on Brainard Avenue in 1913 - quite an engineering feat. The design of the new 18-hole golf course at the Club's new location on Brainard Avenue is attributed to Thomas Bendelow, with major design help from William B. Langford. The 1913 course was designed with a traditional perimeter routing of outer and inner nines. Renovations and enhancements to the golf course have been completed over the years.

La Grange Country Club has also made its mark in both Chicago and National Golf History by successfully hosting the United States Golf Association Women's Open in 1974 and 1981.

Cantigny offers challenging holes on beautiful, rolling terrain covering nearly 300 acres. Each nine has distinct identities, adding richness to the golf experience. Cantigny is the five-time host of the Illinois State Amateur Championship and frequent regional tournaments. When it opened, in 1989, it was named "Best New Public Course in America" by Golf Digest. Since then, it has earned a reputation as one of the finest public-access golf facilities in the Midwest.

Cantigny Golf is owned by the Robert R. McCormick Foundation and managed by KemperSports. It is open to all but strives to deliver the amenities and playing conditions you might expect at a private golf facility.

Established in 1913 at its current location, Ridgemoor Country Club is a classic Chicago golf course.
