Terms and Conditions

Thank you for signing up for the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation Game Day Auction. Proceeds from the Game Day Auction benefit the Penguins Foundation’s youth and special needs initiatives. Please read in detail the Terms and Conditions of the Game Day Auction powered by Givesmart.

Do you agree to allow Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to use your personal data?

I consent to allowing Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to capture and use my personal data. I understand and have read the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and understand that I may revoke this consent at any time.

 

Responsibility for Purchases

By bidding on an item or purchasing an instant "Buy Now" item in the Penguins Foundation Auction, you are agreeing to purchase the "Buy Now" item and/ or the auction item if you should win.  The Penguins Foundation is unable to cancel/rescind any bids.

 

Credit Card on Account

By placing your credit card on file through Givesmart, you agree to your credit card being charged following the game/event for the balance on your account if you do not provide another method of payment to the Game Day Auction Manager.  See below for further details.

 

Winning Bidders at PPG Paints Arena

In order to receive your winning item at PPG Paints Arena, you must visit the Game Day Auction Stand (located behind Section 104) within 10 minutes after the end of regulation.  You must also provide payment in one of the following ways:

  • You may provide a credit card to the Game Day Auction Manager or you may authorize for the Penguins Foundation to charge your credit card on file
  • You may provide a signed check to the Game Day Auction Manager  OR
  • You may provide the appropriate amount of cash to the Game Day Auction Manager

 

If your winning item is not claimed on game day, then your credit card on file will be charged and you will be contacted by the Penguins Foundation on the next business day to arrange for pick-up or delivery. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, pick-up dates and estimated shipping are TBD. 

 

Winning Bidders outside PPG Paints Arena

In order to receive your winning item, you must contact the Penguins Foundation Auction Manager at the game that night or claim your piece via email at [email protected] within 5 business days.

Once your credit card is successfully processed, you may choose to either pick-up your item at the Penguins Foundation Office or request that your item be shipped.  If you opt to pick up the item at the Penguins Foundation Office, the item must be picked up within 10 business days after the game day on which the item is won. If you opt for delivery, please see the Shipping section below.

 

Shipping

All items opted to be shipped will received an additional $25 shipping and handling fee per item. Due to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, pick-up dates and estimated shipping are TBD. The Penguins Foundation will provide a FedEx tracking number once available via email.

 

Tax Deductibility

You may receive a tax letter and receipt upon request.
