Four Passes to Slidewaters Waterpark, Chelan, WA

Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, Slidewaters offers attractions for all ages, highlighted by Citywave USA, the world's largest stationary wave. Guests can enjoy free 30-minute surf sessions from 10 AM to noon, available on a first-come, first-served basis, or book 45-minute sessions in advance. After surfing, relax in the Surfer's Hot Tub, heated to over 100 degrees, with scenic views of the waterpark and Lake Chelan.

For a more leisurely experience, float along the 500-foot Lazy River, or visit the Zero Depth Beach, featuring a 150-gallon tipping bucket and various spray features. Slidewaters also offers a range of body slides, including Blue Blaster, Sidewinder, Corkscrew, and Bonzai Pipeline, each providing unique thrills. Beginner and intermediate slides like Bug-A-Boo, Squirt Gun, Whitewater, and Run Amuck cater to younger or less experienced riders.

For high-speed action, try Thunder Rapids or Tube Blaster, with exhilarating chutes and turns. The Downhill Racer offers competitive mat sliding on three lanes, while Purple Haze challenges adventurers with a pitch-black enclosed slide.

The "Holiday Spice" variety show, directed by Amy Edwards & Ernest Palmer, is a exuberant holiday revue featuring the area's best performers saluting the season through dance, music, comedy, theatre performances, and more. Relax and slip into the holiday spirit as you embrace an evening of timeless musical joy. In the celebration of local arts, Holiday Spice is also a time for us to recognize two Stanley Lifetime Achievement Award winners who have left a profoundly positive and lasting impression on the arts in our community. A holiday favorite! Enjoy tickets for two to an old-time radio show gem! Directed by Dani Schafer-Cloke and Foley Director James Wallace, this performance features the ingenious melding of two classic Victorian tales! Dr. Watson visits his old friend Sherlock Holmes on Christmas Eve, finding him in a dark and misanthropic mood, planning to retire from the dull work of solving crimes. But soon, Holmes is visited by the ghost of his great enemy Professor Moriarity, who warns Holmes that he is heading towards his own damnation and tells him of an upcoming visit by three spirits. Sound familiar? During the visits that follow, we learn about Holmes' childhood and his lost love, the chaos that his early retirement has caused his friends and associates throughout London, and finally a terrifying future: Holmes sees himself, a cold creature of pure intellect, supplying weapons to the battlefields of the First World War. Waking on Christmas morning, the repentant Holmes makes amends with his friends and rededicates himself to his higher purpose.
