This pair of handmade mugs are the work of Holden guest potter Brian Felton of Felton Clayworks, and they are absolutely perfect for enjoying a warm cup of tea in the early hours of sunrise or the waning hours of the day.
Each piece features the outlines of the views surrounding Holden inscribed around the exterior of the mug. Whether in the Village enjoying the actual scenery yourself or outside of it, these mugs provide something truly beautiful to enjoy.
Made from stoneware glazed in blue rutile over charcoal. Microwave- and dishwasher-safe. Mug capacity is from 8.5 to 9 oz.

This beautiful panoramic image was taken facing south towards Buckskin and Copper peaks from Chalet Hill on the winter solstice. On that day, the sun first comes out from behind the mountains at about noon, and is greeted by the Holden community with dancing and festive dress!

Artist Elizabeth Person was an Artist in Residence at Holden Village in 2015 and created art about village life, the unique geography and traditions. She was able to leave her day job two years after the residency and credits her time at the Village as key to becoming a fulltime artist. She specializes in information art, like maps.
