The pre-Italian civilization of antiquity, the ancient Etruscans, a wonderfully enigmatic, early winemaking culture, inspired Gamba Estate's endeavor, Etrusca.

Etrusca represents Gamba's way of honoring a personal connection to the past through wine. The idea of Etrusca began out of a desire to learn of family roots; reaching far into their family's ancestry to uncover more about where they are from, and their winemaking history, by exploring and celebrating how they arrived where they are today. This pursuit led to the idea of an unlimited source of artistic expression in wine.

Etrusca strives to create a palate of flavors that range from elegant to bold expressions through blending wines which affords an exciting exercise in endless possibilities and an expression of passion. Sourcing fruit from an unlimited number of carefully chosen vineyard sites, and assembling specifically selected varieties of winegrapes from one or more appellations to make their wine blends is the essence of Etrusca.

Bricoleur Vineyards is a botanical utopia where the vines are vibrant with health. The viticultural team is committed to growing fruit of the highest quality, allowing the winemaker to express the true character of the site by way of elegant wines.

Each year, the vineyards are sustainably farmed at Bricoleur's two estate properties, 20 acres in the Russian River Valley, and 43 acres in the Fountaingrove Grove District. An intimate understanding of each variety and block allows for careful consideration throughout the growing season, ultimately providing premium fruit along with selectively sourced fruit from some of the finest heritage vineyards in Sonoma County to craft site-specific wines, celebrating the breadth of possibilities within this region.

Bricoleur's white and rose wines are crisp varietal expressions, seeing mostly stainless-steel barrel aging. Their red wines offer nuance, depth, and complexity. In the end, the goal is to craft wines to be shared over great meals with family and friends.
