Japan Tour Guide
$180Tour guide is Harumi Iwanami, who is a licensed Tour Guide and the incumbent president of Japan Minnesota Association, authorized chapter of University of Minnesota Alumni Association. She will escort you all day in Tokyo (& Yokohama) area by public transportation (Option1), or Hakone & Odawara area by her car (Option2).
She was born and brought up in Tokyo, and has lived and worked there for many decades since she graduated from the University of Minnesota. She knows all about the city, so you can ask her to take anyplace you want to go. In addition, she also knows the latest sightseeing spots and good restaurants in Hakone, which is the most popular destination from Tokyo. She often visits the area by her car, because she has a weekend house in Odawara, on the foot of Hakone mountains.
There are two options.
Option 1
Enjoy Tokyo with Harumi
One-day Tokyo Tour. She will pick you up at the hotel after breakfast, and bring you any place you want, from Asakusa, Harajuku, Shibuya, Yokohama Bay, Mt. Takao, and Kabuki-cho, etc., by public transportation or taxi, and drop you at the hotel after dinner. Lunch and dinner expense will be split evenly and please tell her your favorite foods and the budget in advance. She knows many good restaurants in Tokyo. She would like to devote one full day to you.
Option 2
Enjoy Hakone with Harumi
One-day Hakone Tour with Harumi's car (Mazda Demio). She will pick you up and drop at Odawara Station (you can ride on Bullet Train from Tokyo or Shinagawa Station or Odakyu Romance Car from Shinjuku Station to Odawara). But she is also able to pick you up from your hotel in Tokyo and get on the train together to Odawara, if you request. Her car is MAZDA Demio, and the riding capacity is four or five people, including the driver. Lunch and dinner expense will be split evenly, and please tell her your favorite foods and the budget in advance. She knows many good restaurants in Hakone and Odawara area. She would like to devote one full day to you.
You can select one of the two options.
Harumi prefers to receive your itineraries three months in advance and will adjust the schedule by exchanging emails. The term will be until 31st of December 2025, but there is room for further consideration.
