A doll of a warrior boy that is traditionally displayed on Boy's Day (May 5). The doll represents both strength to ward off misfortune while still displaying boyish features. The doll is modeled after a motif of boy heroes from historic stories, such as Momotaro and Kintaro, bridging traditional stories with modern aesthetics.
