CONTINUING ADULT EDUCATION PROGRAM (CAEP) SCHOLARSHIPS

CAEP has been a crucial support system for many of our graduates. During the three to six-week Saturday sessions, alumni reunite to reconnect with former classmates and engage in a variety of recreational and vocational activities. These activities include swimming, art, jazz band, music, technology, ceramics, basketball, dance and more. This is just a glimpse of the extensive range of activities available to our alumni at CAEP.

 
FEED A FAMILY OF 4 FOR ONE MONTH

Our community faces a dire food insecurity crisis, exemplified by the recent establishment of the Higashi Food Pantry. As we strive to expand our program, augment food deliveries, and bolster inventory, your assistance is instrumental.

 
VOCATIONAL EQUIPMENT & SUPPLIES

Throughout the year, our organization consistently requires equipment, supplies, and technological support. Your generous contributions serve as a vital lifeline for programs such as the Daily Life Farm, the Higashi Heat Press and Design Program, the Ceramics Program, and numerous vocational and career awareness initiatives. These additional revenues act as a catalyst for growth and prosperity, enabling these programs to flourish and reach their full potential.

FILL A BACKPACK FOR ONE MONTH

Our Food Pantry is embarking on an initiative called the "Backpack Program," designed to combat hunger and provide essential supplies to those in need. The program has already partnered with the local police department, successfully reaching out to the homeless population through the distribution of backpacks. Your generous contributions will enable us to extend our reach and impact more children who are in need of this vital support.

Raise your bid number at the end of the night and wait for it to be collected by a volunteer. Each collected bid will go towards the purchase of a new backpack for our Backpack Program.

Together, we've achieved incredible milestones:

• We anticipate surpassing $2 million in Gala fundraising: Thanks to your generosity, this year's event promises to be a record-breaker, allowing us to continue pursuing our dreams for our students.
• Transformed our learning environment: We've built a swimming pool/athletic complex, library, renovated classrooms, and created innovative spaces like a culinary arts kitchen, greenhouse, fitness center and the campus farm.

Beyond facilities, we've fostered a culture of empowerment:

• Technology for All:  We've prioritized technology integration, ensuring seamless communication, streamlined operations, and innovative teaching methods. Our commitment to staff training ensures technology effectively serves everyone.
• Expanded Programs: We've opened a satellite campus for the Emergence Program, expanded the CAEP program, and opened the Boston Higashi Food Pantry to serve local communities.
• Lifelong Support: We're dedicated to supporting our students throughout their lives, developing vocational programs and exploring opportunities like Adult Day Programs.
