"SKEL" is the alias for Artist Jason Skeldon, originally from Las Vegas, Nevada. The artist has resided most of his life in Tampa, FL. Jason has work hanging all over the United States including Los Angeles, New York, and Miami. His art style is influenced by pop culture and current events, and he uses spray paints, acrylic, watercolors, stencils, and resins. Jason's work can be seen in his gallery at the Hard Rock Casino in Tampa, FL, the Crown-N-Bull, Opes Health, International Mall Tampa, and Aloft Hotel Orlando, FL. Some notable clients include Kevin Hart (comedian), Taylor Swift (singer), Akon (singer), Rashad Evans (MMA), Hulk Hogan, Phil Heath, Ian Somerhalder (actor), Wade Boggs (baseball), Jameis Winston (football). Edel Alvarez Galban (AGalban) was born on September 18, 1967, in Havana, Cuba, where he was raised. AGalban's work has been exhibited in several international cultural centers and art markets, including New York City, Miami, Tampa, Orlando, St. Petersburg, Coral Gables, and Puerto Rico. He has exhibited in prominent venues, events, literature, and television shows.
In 2001 AGalban completed his medical degree from Colegio Universitario San Judas Tadeo Escuela De Medicina and relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida, which then became the permanent base for both his art and medical professions. Since relocating to St. Petersburg, Galban gradually emerged as among the most visible Cuban artists of the region as well as a proponent of Cuban art throughout Central Florida, having frequently exhibiting his work throughout Tampa, Orlando and Clearwater, as well as supporting other Cuban artists.

ABOUT THE ARTIST: Donne Bitner graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University and has been a full-time studio artist for the last 30 years. She recently retired as a senior faculty instructor at Crealde School of Art in Watercolor, Drawing, and Painting after 20 years.
Donne maintains a studio at McRae Art Studio in Orlando, Florida. Her work is exhibited in museum shows and gallery exhibitions throughout the United States and has appeared in a variety of publications including American Artist Watercolor Magazine, International Artist, and Watercolor Magic.

Donne Bitner is an accomplished Florida artist specializing in watercolor, acrylic and 2D mixed media painting. She graduated with honors from Penn State University with a B.A degree in Art before moving to Florida in 1967. In addition to a 30-year career as a full-time artist, Donne wsa a senior faculty member at Crealde School for the Arts in Orlando, FL. She has conducted workshops at the Yurick Studios (Atlantic Center for the Arts Downtown), New Smyrna Beach, FL; Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Gatlinburg, Tennessee; Vero Beach Center for the Arts, Vero Beach, Florida; Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida; Foosaner Art Museum, Melbourne, Florida; and the Deland Museum of Art, Deland, Florida.
In 2002, Donne received the State of Florida Individual Artist Fellowship grant and in 2006 an Individual Artist Enhancement grant. In 2004, 2007 and 2009 she received Professional Development grants from United Arts of Central Florida.

ARTISTS STATEMENT; As my state of mind and emotions have changed over time, so have my paintings. For the last few years, my primary focus has been on landscape painting but this past year, I felt that it was time to take on a new challenge to push my work in a new direction. From past experiences, I knew abstract painting to be one of the most difficult art practices, as there are no parameters: no horizon, no sky, no ground, only colors, and shapes." Nonetheless, I delved in, using color to guide and inspire me. I let each painting evolve as I explored a range of emotions, demons, and ideas. Imagination is the key. Ideas ebb and flow. Paths are taken and discarded. It's painting by discovery!

Karl Davies was born in Newport, South Wales and completed a BA in Painting at Cheltenham in 1995. He has a PGCE in Art & Design and teaches in the Rhondda. Karl settled in Pontypridd in 2001. He exhibits his paintings across Wales and London. His work is in private collections in Australia, Europe, Hong Kong and the USA.
Karl began painting seriously in 2004, initially using digital photography to explore composition. He uses a mixture of deliberate and intuitive brush marks in each painting and prepares numerous sketches before painting begins. He enjoys simplifying forms to make them a suggestion of what they represent, creating a solidity of form, without fuss and literality.
Karl has a traditional attitude towards materials and believes in the importance of drawing. He is influenced by both Sir Kyffin Williams and Josef Herman in this regard. He aims to communicate unselfishly through his work, provoking a memory and personal response from the viewer. There is no secret code to unlock the work, the work is always open to interpretation and without pretension.
Karl's earliest, childhood memory connected with art was when his father made a quick sketch of him in red biro on a scrap of paper. The process of drawing has been a constant companion in his life ever since.
ARTIST STATEMENT: I enjoy the process of creating form with oil paint. I use a mixture of deliberate and intuitive brush marks in each composition. My inspiration is the South Wales landscape. The development of my painting is bound tightly to choices of subject matter. It is the subject, which gives me the form and structure to hang my paintings on. I am involved in creating representations of Wales in paint. Mountains, fields and streets. There is an air of retrospection about the work and of time passing. The work is about atmosphere, settlement, home and the elements. I am traditional in terms of materials and believe in the importance of drawing. I have been influenced by both Kyffin Williams and Josef Herman in this regard. I spend time sketching out a composition before each painting is begun, usually blocking in with ink or gouache. I investigate tone and form this way. My work communicates honestly, unselfishly and provokes a memory and personal response. There is no secret code to unlock the work, it is open to interpretation and without pretension. More recently I have been drawn to creating greater texture in the paintings and making a greater variety of marks with the brush as I paint. I enjoy using silhouettes of figures and foliage and making use of shadows to create three-dimensional forms. I have begun to include a figure in some of the works. This character took some time to evolve. Obvious inspiration has come from Josef Herman and Kyffin Williams depiction of the working man. Also from working on a farm in summer holidays from school. I enjoy simplifying forms to make them a suggestion of what they represent creating a solidity, without fuss and literality.

Artist Tony A. Blue - Known by some as the Warren Zevon of contemporary painters. "My acrylics and mixed media work is on canvas (sometimes wood or metal) and my style leans to the expressionistic side - even my landscapes. Often I like additional texture in my work and sometimes I also add other elements, i.e. copper, fiber, newsprint, etc. - it helps me get to the heart of the matter. Painting gives me a means to express myself and what is on my mind, even if it's profound, a little bizarre, or whimsical at the time! Since I was born and raised in America, many times my work translates to an American persuasion. However, the way the world is shrinking, I expect the rest of the planet may also relate to much of my work. One thing for sure, it's a crazy mixed up world - I'm going to need a lot more paint!"Tony A. Blue was a very creative young boy in the early '60s, constantly trying to sketch and paint what his imagination could see and he still does that today. In 1967, he saw a Michelangelo Antonioni movie called Blowup and decided to add photography to his creative endeavors. He first learned his new craft through trial and error, then with military on-the-job training as a still photographer in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
Upon his discharge from the USAF in 1969 and to supplement his painting career, he enrolled in Los Angeles City College to further his photography studies. While there, his work was recognized by his instructor and Tony was asked to do a one-man exhibit, on campus, in the Presidents Hall-his first show, "The Many Moods of Women", was born. That marked the beginning of his unique and significant contribution to the vast and glorious art world.
In the mid '70s and following the completion of his studies, he opened a photography studio in Los Angeles, California specializing in the fields of portraiture, fashion and glamour. He soon became one of the most sought after photographers in the Hollywood area, all the while, continuing to express himself through his painting.
With a growing hunger to expand his horizons, Blue's creative yearning took over and with the '80s came change. He moved back to his home state of Florida to allow his creative juices to flow into a new direction…Tony A. Blue, the painter, began to emerge.
Many years later, Tony has achieved international acclaim- including an Award of Excellence from Nikon Corporation's international competition, being published in Petersen's Photographic Magazine, his work featured in the Art Buzz Collection international volumes, and several awards (from Honorable Mention to Best In Show) at various juried art shows. His work has also appeared in numerous other publications along with fine art galleries.
Today, Tony continues to push the boundaries of his artistic direction with a paint brush and palette knife. His originals are created in acrylics and mixed media on canvas mostly-they tend to fall under the expressionistic label, and sometimes a little common sense or personal commentary mixed in, but Blue just paints what he feels. "My art is my voice." - he says it best.

I've been painting my whole life since I can remember, I'm originally from Cuba so I did my high school in an Art Academy where I learned different techniques such as drawing, painting, screen printing, and sculpture.
In 2004, I moved to the USA with my family. I started my Art career here in the Tampa Bay Area in 2016, I've been part of several art exhibitions and art shows since then.
I paint with different techniques and materials such as acrylic, spray paint, and screen printing. My favorite subject to paint is portraits. For me, a face represents many things. I also like to add elements of nature and animals representing the connection that exists in everything that surrounds us. I think I'm known for the expression of the eyes in my paintings.

Perez Perez is a Puerto Rican visual artist of the new generation of contemporary artists from Puerto Rico. He is also best known for his live and colorful paintings and detailed engravings inspired by his Caribbean roots.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Perez Perez grew up surrounded by paradisiac landscapings, vivid colors, music, folklore, and an incredibly vibrant Puerto Rican culture.
Perez Perez's unique painting work is shaped by his studies in Painting at the prestigious School of Plastic Arts of Puerto Rico where he had the opportunity to work under the close tutelage of international recognized Puerto Rican artists such as Elizam Escobar, Luis Felipe LÃ3pez, Eric French, Edgard RodrÃÂguez Luiggi and Awilda Sterling just to name a few. In his years of academic formation, he excelled in painting, engraving and small format sculpture.
Although he constantly experiments with different media and techniques, he works mostly with oil and acrylic, resulting in the creation of abstract expressionist paintings about nature, humans identity, conflict and the relationship between the Inner World and Outer World.
With various art exhibitions ranging from Puerto Rico, New York, Florida and Pennsylvania, Perez is now currently expanding his career nationally and internationally.
Since 2017 Perez Perez is part of the Puerto Rican diaspora. He lives in Tampa, Florida where he moved after the devastation caused by the Hurricane Maria and is currently working to showcase his new collection titled "PANDEMIA".

Although I have worked steadily over many decades I continue to experience joy and great satisfaction when a difficult passage in a painting has been resolved successfully. "Many of my paintings are done on gessoed paper. I am attracted to its surface qualities as well as its portability and immediacy. I feel that I can capture the intimate nature of drawing in my oils on paper. "Although my work is very personal, viewers can recognize and identify with the range of feelings that are projected, such as longing, sensitivity, intensity and contemplation. Figures and forms are often distorted or disintegrated. In this process, the painting can communicate more of the essence and internal energy of being. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Hi! I'm Courtney, a senior at the University of Tampa working towards my Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in painting. You can find me in my studio experimenting with mediums such as beer, spray paint, liquid copper, pennies, and other found materials. Experimental painting is a big influence on my current body of work. The curriculum constantly pushes me to think outside of the box, and explore an array of different materials. Lately, my current work revolves around oil painting the human figure and combining the bodies with designer brands and logos. This combination alludes to my senior thesis which explores social class and the concept of privilege versus poverty. This year I have become an apprentice to a local mural artist and have been learning the craft of large scale murals and the in and outs of being a full time artist. Art is something that I am constantly studying, practicing and is a huge part of my life. I think it is important to stick with your passion and when it is combined with hard work, extraordinary things can happen.

After receiving a degree in photography from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale in 1982 he joined Wilco Studio in Hollywood Florida and helped make Wilco Studios one of the top studios in South Florida. He then moved to Saint Petersburg in 2002 and became part of the Packinghouse Gallery and Photography Studio. The Gallery was one of only a few Photographic Art Galleries in the state.
Jim is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer and Florida Service Award Degree receipient .Jim is working toward his Photographic Craftsmen Degree which requires alot of dedication to the Art and Science of Photography which he is fully committed to. We are one and the same; which is why this painting can be appreciated as shown or inverted.
Climate change, it is a Global phenomenon of climate transformation specially caused by human activities. We need to work as a unit to combat this fact. As the way the universe works keeping everything connected. This painting expresses that statement. From the inner core of the world, flowers, pollen, and bees provide the majority of biotic pollination and are at risk for different factors. The inner core is connected to coral reefs. 25% of the ocean's fish depend on healthy coral reefs. The world needs our kindness .
Gabriela is a visual artist and violinist, passionate about arts and culture advocacy. Originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Owner of Gabriela Valencia Studio and Gallery at St. Pete Beach, Florida from 2013 to 2020. Currently she is teaching art, music to elementary and middle school, always able to come up with ideas that will take the arts to a different level for the good of the society.
Gabriela's artwork has been featured in private collections and galleries, art centers, museums, magazines, newspapers in Ecuador and Florida, USA. Among other female artists in Athens, Greece.

"Sheer Gown" Erte

Erté was born Romain de Tirtoff in St. Petersburg, Russia on November 23rd, 1892 and was raised amidst Russia's social elite. At the age of five he created an evening gown for his mother and managed to persuade the adults to craft it, they were astounded by the results. In 1912, Romain left St. Petersburg for Paris at the age of nineteen with the aim of becoming an artist.
After working with Paul " Le Magnifique" Poiret on several theatrical productions Romain, still under the pseudonym of Erte, began to work more independently. He hand-crafted original costume and fashion designs for many of the era's most renowned actresses, including Joan Crawford, Lillian Gish, Marion Davies, Anna Pavlova, Norma Shearer, and others. His masterpieces for the stage included extravagant production designs at venues such as New York's Radio City Music Hall, the Casino de Paris, and the Paris Opera. In 1915 he began his long professional relationship with Harper's Bazaar and created 240 covers for the esteemed magazine. For 6 months in 1916, Erté simultaneously worked with Vogue as well. As a result of his highly publicized success, Erté would later be called the father of the 'Art Deco' movement.
Today, some of his original designs grace the permanent collections of prestigious museums such as New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, the Smithsonian Institution and London's Victoria & Albert Museum
