For more than 90 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton (BGCD) has delivered high quality, after-school and summer programming in a safe space for youth K-12. Our mission is focused on inspiring, developing and helping young people reach their full potential because we believe that every youth deserves a great future. Our vision is to see that every young person within our reach has access to a world-class Club Experience - with the academic, mental and behavioral support they need to be on track to graduate from high school, with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Over the last three years, our Spark Great Futures fundraiser has been transformational for our program quality and delivery. BGCD has enhanced our STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math) learning experiences, but data shows that youth in our community still have a STEAM opportunity gap, significant academic challenges, and higher rates of mental and physical health challenges. Support from Spark will continue to support our structured and evidence-based programming centered around academic recovery and success, health and well-being, good character and citizen, and life and workforce readiness!
We hope you join us to help build more BRIGHT FUTURES for youth & teens in Dayton!
