My story began in 1984 when I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. I was under the care of Dr.Paul Coppola who immediately referred me to Dr.Peter Schwartz. I had a 50/50 chance of survival. Well it's 41 years later & here I am still telling my story. Yes,Dr.Peter Schwartz,my hero.(unfortunately cancer took him in 2024) Since then I have watched so many friends & relatives get hit with this horrible disease including my mother(deceased 2013) & my daughter. My mother lost her life rather quickly after her diagnosis. My daughter is a survivor of almost 6 years now. I am witness to so many fighting the fight right now. I do my best to support them in any way I can. Mostly I listen,give a hug,keep them laughing,make sure they are comfortable,etc.. A little goes a long way.
