A portion of the proceeds earned from this event will be donated to American Veterans Collection.
The St. Michael Feast Day 5K (Run/Walk) is a tradition that commemorates the memory of parishioners who lost their lives battling cancer or other debilitating illnesses. Although our hearts may never fully heal, we can honor them at this bi-annual celebration event. Thomas Campbell, a lifetime parishioner, member of the Music Ministry, husband, and father of two beautiful girls, was a proud Marine who passed away from cancer. This year, we are excited to honor his legacy by donating a portion of the proceeds to the American Veterans Collection. As a veteran, Thomas understood the difference a service dedicated to improving veterans' lives could make. The American Veterans Collection is a non-profit organization that conducts educational workshops to enhance the lives of veterans. President Jim Chancellor, a Vietnam War veteran, educates America about the psychological toll of war on veterans.
