Domaine Drouhin-Laroze is based in Gevrey-Chambertin and own an admirable array of grands cru vineyards. The estate dates from 1850 and creates wine as timeless as they are.

The Chambertin Clos De Bèze has an intense purple colour with a fragrance of small red fruits and liquorice on the nose providing strong aromatic majestic quality. On the palate it is balanced, clear, sound and rich. Its melted, spicy and precise tannins offer roundness and lightness on the finish. With a hint of rose, this elegant wine suggests its sensuality.

2021 Brewer Clifton Magnum (1.5L)

Brewer-Clifton is a champion of the much-heralded Sta. Rita Hills appellation and winemaker Greg Brewer and his team work under the doctrine of discipline, neutrality, and deliberate intent. Only neutral barrels are used, and the fermentations are all whole clusters complete with fully ripened stems to allow for a well structured, earthy wine to offset the big fruit.

In 2021, the fruit came off three sites, 3D, Machado and Hapgood to create a truly powerful pinot. The nose is a dusty mix of red fruit and tea leaf, with an intense earthy forest floor and baking spice palate that finishes long and warm.
