Wine making is both an art and a science - experience the process, and make your own wine!
Rotarian Joe Reagan started brewing beer in 2011, since then he has expanded his hobby to include hard cider and wine.
In this unique experience, Joe will guide you through the entire wine making process from selecting the type of wine you want, through the fermentation process, to bottling your wine.
What to expect:
Home wine making kits include all the ingredients that you'll need - sometimes there are limits to the types of kits available but Joe will work with you to find something great. Joe will use his equipment and walk you through all the steps.
The fermentation process takes about 30 days and will require Joe to meet with you 4-6 times during that month - generally it takes about an hour on each of those days. Wine is very forgiving so we have flexibility on scheduling - I've totally left a wine sitting in a fermenter for 60 days and there were no ill effects.
You can expect approx. 20-30 bottles of wine - wine is drinkable after about 15 days but best after 50-70 days in the bottle - we'll test at each step to look for off flavors and experience "young" wine.

Ellie, Anahliah, Gentrie, Rozalia, Haleigh, Colby, Madelyn, Graeson, Amelia) led by teachers Melissa Matzen and Cathy Banoczi created this petite butterfly.
The students got the inspiration to create a butterfly that represented Bristol's STEAM pathway. They planned out their part of the wing by researching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math doodles. However, they also learned in the butterfly club about the symmetry of butterfly wings, so they each had to work with a partner while planning the front and back of each wing. The A (art is represented at the base of the stand. The students ranged from 3rd-5th grade.

Two wonderfully creative 5th grade students created this Grant Lions inspired butterfly. The petite butterfly "Leo", was named after their mascot the lion, AND after Lepidoptera (butterfly). The girls came up with the designs, keeping in mind the culture of Grant Elementary School. The colors reflect Grant's school colors of yellow and gold, and the word characteristics of their school, and how students and staff strive to treat one another. They worked after school and during many recess times to complete the project. The Grant community couldn't be prouder!

5th grade students from McAuliffe Elementary School created a petite butterfly "Sweet Summertime" as a fun tribute to summer. They chose a vibrant fruit theme, painting the butterfly to look like a juicy watermelon, complete with colorful rind and seeds. The stand holding the butterfly is designed to resemble a zesty lemon, adding to the refreshing summer feel. Together, these elements capture the essence of summer to make "Sweet Summertime" a joyful and playful piece.

In addition, she has a petite butterfly titled "Bunch-a-Balloons" inspired by the Labor Day balloons that happen every year at Memorial Park. She wants to help her community. This will be her 8th year with Wings of Change.

She has taken art and photography classes at Pikes Peak State College and also participates in an informal artist group that meets weekly. She is an amateur photographer. Her paintings have been exhibited at the art Gallery at Cacao Chemistry and at the Golden Lotus Foundation Asian Heritage Center. Her photography has been displayed at East Library (PPLD). Her art group has participated in this event since the beginning of the program. She has done two butterflies in the past, 2021 - Great Purple Emperor and 2022 European Peacock.
Cornelia's son and his family are currently stationed in South Korea and she has visited twice. Her petite dragonfly "Butterfly Dragonfly" is inspired by a species of dragonfly that is found in South Korea and throughout East Asia. In Korea it is known as Nabi Jamjari.

He has designed a petite butterfly "Flight of the Patriot" inspired by a 21' x 76' mural he painted for the American Legion Post 12 in Wickenburg, Arizona in November 2023. The process gave him a renewed respect for the flag and what it stands for. This butterfly has a unique hand etched base portraying the American flag.

Lorraine is a resident of Colorado Springs. She has an art degree from Pratt Institute of Art in New York. She has been represented by galleries in New York, New Jersey, New Mexico (Taos and Santa Fe), Arizona (Sedona) and currently shows at Gallery 45 Degree in Old Colorado City. Her work of animals, aspen, flowers or mountains is always a celebration of textures and colors.
Lorraine has created three sculptures for 2024, a garden butterfly "All a Flutter" and two petite butterflies "Sunflower Celebration" and "Just Winging It". Her butterflies celebrate the wonder of delicate wings capable of soaring and dipping. Delighting all with their antics and heavenly patterns and colors.

Al B is a local abstract artist who has a studio at the Sluice in Old Colorado City and is a Resident Artist at Platte Collections Gallery in the Knob Hill area. He has been a part of the Rotary's Wings of Change (formerly Flight) for many years. He started because he supported the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs efforts to provide grants for STEAM programs in District 11 schools. His butterflies are always known to be colorful and creative and he has developed a following over the years that made him an ideal choice to create the Rotary Raffle Butterfly for the past few years. His experience has been very helpful to artists participating in the Rotary Wings of Change event in that he is considered to be an expert on what works and doesn't and how to best represent artists designs. He has been a mentor to the other artists involved in Wings of Change projects and has worked hard to contribute to the success of this program.
Al B is the artist of the 2024 raffle butterfly "Chouka" meaning "butterfly flower" in Japanese. Al B has been very busy sharing his talents with Wings of Change this year as the artist of four additional pieces. He has painted a garden dragonfly "Big Blue", inspired by a real dragonfly; A garden butterfly "Buttercup", a petite butterfly "Personal Monarch" and a petite dragonfly "Little Red".

Art is Joan's true passion, expressed through a variety of mediums such as bronzes, stone carvings, wood carvings, wood masks, decorative gourds, paintings and glass-on-glass mosaics. Creating a bronze trophy for UCCS and CSU Pueblo has been a highlight for her. Her goal is to instill a feeling of happiness and joy in those who observe, enabling them to take a moment and recognize the boundless potential that resides within each and every one of us. Originally from Colorado Springs, She currently resides in Canon City, CO, where she indulges in playing the piano, listening to music, exploring the outdoors, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.
Joan's garden butterfly "Nature's Song" inspiration stems from her deep love for music and her passion for playing the piano. Music is a universal language. Her petite dragonfly "Mind Bender" was inspired simply to challenge the brain in a mind bending way. It is a privilege for her to have been part of the Wings of Change (formerly Flight) artist program for 5 years. She has created 8 butterflies for this program (2016 Messenger, 2017 Sunset Silhouette and Razzle Dazzle, 2019 Sunny Day and Fly Free, 2022 Hello Doily and New Vibrations, 2023 My Generation). She appreciates the opportunity to contribute to the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs Service Fund, which in turn supports our community and promotes the significance of children's involvement in arts and sciences.

Rebekah Black is a self-taught artist who enjoys numerous types of art including sculpture, colored pencil, and painting. She graduated from Colorado State University-Pueblo with a bachelor's of arts in applied mathematics and French. She continued her STEM education with numerous master's level classes in molecular biology, microbiology, and organic chemistry while completing research for a NASA funded project about life surviving in extreme environments. Rebekah has taught reading and math at James Madison Elementary School in District 11, taught art in District 49 elementary schools, and has worked for the Colorado Department of Higher Education through their GEARUP Program at Mitchell High School in District 11, where she prepared low-income high school students to enter and succeed in postsecondary education.
Rebekah's petite butterfly, "Moments of Wonder" is inspired by that occasion when, if we are lucky, the world reveals a true moment of wonder. She wanted to illustrate two of those moments in this piece. Sea turtles act as guardians of the coral reefs, keeping them healthy so the numerous other species living amongst the reefs are also healthy. This benefits the oceans, as well as humanity. Viewing a sea turtle swim overhead is an awe-inspiring event. Yet, in the future, these moments may disappear, along with the turtles. Humanity has the opportunity to help protect sea turtles right now, allowing them to keep protecting the coral reefs, and us to behold moments of wonder like these for years to come.
She has been involved in Flight, now Wings of Change, for nine years, and she completely believes in the program. She has created four large butterflies, eight petite butterflies, and two dragonflies. She has been lucky enough to have had a front row seat at some of the schools that received funds to see the wonderful projects and learning that has resulted. As a STEAM student herself, she knows how important it is to spark an interest in students at a young age, so that children get the confidence and excitement that will stay with them through their lives. It is crucial that children nurture both their analytical and creative sides in order to solve the problems that our world is facing. These problems will not be solved by just one area of thinking, but through a combination of many different areas with many different perspectives. She believes that it is of the utmost importance for our community to have programs such as Wings of Change to support the arts and sciences for our deserving students.

Grayson is 14 years old and he lives in Bend, Oregon. This is the third petite butterfly he has painted for the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. He and his siblings paint with their Grandma, Laurel Bahe, during their vacation time in Colorado. Grayson is a soccer player, a cross country runner, high jumper and a soccer referee. His painting style is very fluid, he just jumps right in and paints! He makes it seem effortless.

Melissa Getz was born and raised in once rural Ohio next to her grandfather's farm, which in turn influences much of her work today. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in studio arts from Ohio University. Melissa gravitated to the tactility of three dimensional bronze, mixed media and found objects. Her work has an off-beat, narrative quality presented through creatures and figures along with an underlying tone of quirky playfulness to dark humor. Melissa has shown throughout Colorado and around the US. She currently resides in Colorado Springs and works outdoors, finding inspiration for new pieces.
Melissa's petite butterfly "Shimmer Skimmer" is inspired by previous butterfly designs and the educational mission of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs as well as pushing her creative envelope.

"The Pour Painter" is professional artistry created with the support of friends and family while battling everything that chronic illness can throw at life: autoimmune disorders, depression, anxiety, arthritis, insomnia, surgeries. . . We have created 5 sculptures of varied size and style for Flight, now Wings of Change, over the years, and we're enthusiastic to come back and contribute to our community again. Each piece is an abstract exploration of color inspired by unique experiences to remind us that every moment is ephemeral. This is our fourth year participating!
Our garden dragonfly "Space: The Sky is Not Black" and petite butterfly "Spaaaace: Glitter in the Sky" derive inspiration from the march of celestial events dancing across the sky this year. We are fortunate to be able to experience the darkness of our sky here in Colorado, so we may be intrigued by the true colors and wonder above us. Our design includes Pikes Peak, The Garden of the Gods, solar and lunar eclipse phenomena, the Tsuchinshan-Atlas Comet, and so much more. Please enjoy our delight in the stars above. And they will both glow again!

She is a self taught artist who enjoys inspiring others through many forms of art. She is working towards hyper realism and has had the privilege of completing four butterflies for the Rotary fundraiser in the past. Her home has always been on the beautiful front range of Pikes Peak, and she currently lives on her farm with her four kids and husband.
Rebekah's garden butterfly "Damsel" is inspired by a similar design she has done in the past. It turned out stunning when she did it as a petite butterfly. "Damsel" repeats this favorite design in the glorious garden sized butterfly, based off of the beauty found in topaz stone. Her intricate and delicate detail is hard for her to pass up in a larger size! Her petite butterfly "Star Gazer" is inspired by growing up in the country where looking at the stars at night was considered an event. "We would drive to a dirt road, where it was quiet and lay a blanket in the back of the truck while we took in the stunning beauty of the Milky Way and tried to see even the tiniest twinkles. Butterflies are breathtaking and I wanted to merge the beautiful wonder of both."
Rebekah's own education was neglected growing up and she never got more than 3rd grade education until her adulthood. She is passionate about this fundraiser to help give kids these days the best chance they have to an enriched education, and to encourage the arts of all forms for generations to come.

She is a woman trying to navigate life and its changes the best she can. Art is an anchor she can hold onto when the way gets rough. Her petite butterfly "Storms and Rainbows" tells the story of storms bringing darkness into all our lives. The promise of the universe is that the beauty of the rainbow can coexist with the darkness of the storm. Just like the skies, we are spacious enough to hold great grief and great joy at the same time. And the storm will always pass, leaving quiet and peace in its wake. The swirls remind us that the constant movement and the unexpected, sometimes unwelcome changes of life are a gift that will always bring about new growth if we choose to embrace them.
Kelly has been involved with Rotary's Flight, now Wings of Change for the past couple of years. She loves producing public, outdoor art.

Georgia is a Colorado native. She is a self taught mixed media artist. She started doing art as a young girl to cope with the strife of having heart disease which limited what she could do physically. Over the years, art has been a therapeutic outlet for trauma and health issues in her life. She also does custom work and creates usable art gifts for Maker's Markets when she is not creating for a professional setting.
Georgia's garden butterfly "Atman'' and her petite dragonfly "Summertide" are inspired by reconnecting with her indigenous heritage and her family's indigenous beadwork. Her petite butterfly, "The Garden" is inspired by spring, blooming flowers, and planting flowers. She has participated in Flight, now Wings of Change, in 2022 and 2023. She loves what Wings of Change stands for and what they do for the community. She moved back to the Springs from Denver this January and her daughter attends a D11 school. She enjoys being a chosen artist and being able to contribute her talents to this amazing cause.

Mary is a Colorado native, born in Canon City, grew up in Pueblo and has resided in Colorado Springs since 1973. She had a rewarding 33 year career in Federal Civil Service serving the US Air Force and Army. Becoming an artist and traveling the world are her passions since retirement. She has been a member of Gallery 113 since its inception in 2011. She primarily paints with silk dye on silk fabric in her studio and watercolor on location with Garden Artists and Plein Aire Painters of Colorado. She is a strong supporter of education and the arts. She has painted petite butterflies every year since 2020 and painted a large dragonfly. Her painting group inspires and energizes each other to support this community event.
This year Mary is painting a garden butterfly "Tapestry" inspired by the look of the bold gold, teal and red to form the impression of stitches on a tapestry. And a petite butterfly "Sunrise" inspired by a Sunset Moth with colors from white to yellows to greens and blues with a touch of purple and dramatic irregular black shapes

It may be a process that takes as long as it takes, but the freedom to thrive awards all of the effort.

Painting for Hedy is a passion. Her favorite period of art is the Impressionists with its emphasis on loose brush work, creating one's own "impression" of a subject, and using a variety of colors and textures. Her years as a docent at the Fine Arts Center at Colorado College and trips throughout Europe inspired her to start painting again on a regular basis. She has a BFA from Michigan State and started entering art shows in Colorado Springs about 15 years ago. She has shown her art at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, Academy Art and Frame, Commonwheel Co-op, Pikes Perk in Mountain Shadows, Manitou Art Center and more. She has participated in Rotary's Wings of Change (formerly Flight) for 5 years.
Hedy has painted a garden butterfly "Fantasy Garden" inspired by her love of gardening. Flowers inspire her. She loves the colors and variety of annual and perennial plants and loves to paint with bright and happy colors.

Leigh is a repeat artist for Rotary's Wings of Change having created sculptures in both 2011 and 2013. garden butterfly "Dragon-fly - Chinese Year of the Dragon 2024". She admires the worthy cause and heartfelt efforts of the Rotary Club of Colorado Spring fundraising event and wants to assist in preparing a meaningful art contribution.
Leigh's garden butterfly "Dragon-fly: Chinese Year of the Dragon 2024" is inspired by thinking of how to transition a butterfly into a "dragon fly". Her design represents the Chinese "Year of the Dragon 2024" on the upper wings and Koi fish on the lower wings. The spiritual meaning of both, among other things, is good fortune. This is what Leigh wishes for the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs in its heart-felt fundraising endeavors. "Good Fortune" is written in Chinese on the dragon and Koi fish.
Art is Joan's true passion, expressed through a variety of mediums such as bronzes, stone carvings, wood carvings, wood masks, decorative gourds, paintings and glass-on-glass mosaics. Creating bronze trophies for UCCS and CSU Pueblo has been a highlight for her.
Her goal is to instill a feeling of happiness and joy in those who observe, enabling them to take a moment and recognize the boundless potential that resides within each and every one of us. Originally from Colorado Springs, Hope currently reside in Canon City, CO, where she indulges in playing the piano, listening to music, exploring the outdoors, and cherishing moments with her loved ones.

Even as a teenager, Robin was interested in arts and crafts. Over the years, she has pursued crafts in the areas of embroidery, sewing, stained glass, bead work, and home decor. Several years ago, her journey into painting began. Her time towards this endeavor has been limited and as a beginner, Robin looks forward to spending more time painting and to improving her skill level. The craft projects she has created have been for gifts for family and friends. Several years ago, however, she contributed a zebra painting and numerous beaded jewelry pieces to a fundraiser for mission work in Costa Rica.
Her garden butterfly "Serengeti" is inspired by her love of animals. As an animal lover, she can't imagine designing a butterfly without incorporating animals. Whether seeing animals in pictures or in real life, Robin finds them fascinating. She is always wondering what they are thinking because their faces hold so much expression. The shapes, sizes, colors, and fur patterns of animals are interesting to her. They bring her feelings of peace and joy.

Tara is in her 30th year of teaching middle school art in District 11. Her experimental approach continuously fuels her creativity and drives her to explore many diverse art mediums as she aims to balance her role as a full-time teacher with her passion for remaining a practicing artist.
Her journey with Wings of Change began as a tribute to her father's struggle with Parkinson's Disease, leading her to create the butterfly piece "Living with the Parking Brake On." When he passed, Tara and her family sat with him, sharing stories as a sunbeam slowly traveled down his body, allowing them time to adjust to his death and facilitating a gentle transition.
Following her father's passing, she found inspiration to create a Dragonfly sculpture for Wings of Change while surrounded by dragonflies at his butterfly monument. The symbolism in "Soulfly" reflects themes of change, letting go, and personal interpretation, inspired by the beauty and uniqueness of dragonfly wings. "Soulfly" was born through this exploration, emphasizing the importance of diversity and individuality. The intricate patterns of dragonfly wings, resembling the reflections of a disco ball, highlight the appeal of diverse interpretations, echoing themes of transition and individuality in her artistic journey.

Madylyn Gordon has always loved art, but her other love has always been horses. Madylyn lived most of her life in St. Louis where she found a love for digital art and teaching people of all ages how to ride horses. She came to Colorado in 2019 and became an art teacher where she teaches students how to create works of their own. Her adventurous spirit keeps her moving as she still loves to explore the mountains with her horses.
Madylyn created this garden butterfly "Untamed Wonder" garden butterfly in honor of the nomadic cowgirl lifestyle she loves and to pay tribute to the amazing horses that take her on wonderful adventures. "A colleague of mine created a beautiful butterfly a few years ago and I was inspired by her to create one of my own and leave a lasting impression as an artist in Colorado Springs. After reading about the movement behind the Wings of Change and hearing about my coworker's butterfly I was inspired to create one of my own."

She is working towards hyper realism and has had the privilege of completing four butterflies for the Rotary fundraiser in the past. Michele is an eclectic person: an educator, artist and small business owner who is inspired by nature and the world around her. For the past 30 years, she has been a teacher of all different types of contents to all different age levels, but most recently she tries to guide students in the arts. When she is not teaching, Michele has a small business where she sells handcrafted tie dyes, painted items and jewelry. In her spare time, she loves to garden, hike and bake!
Michele painted a garden dragonfly this year titled "Oh Beautiful America". Everyday the Pikes Peak mountain inspires me with its beauty. Whether through hiking, traveling or just looking out her window. It stands there strong. She loves hiking at Garden of the Gods because both Pikes Peak and the Garden are relaxing. She thinks sometimes that people forget how beautiful it really is because we see it every day.
She has been a participating artist for the past two years with: Wildflowers in Flight, A Good Day to go Fishing and two other small petite butterflies. I am currently the Liaison between CSSD 11 and the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs.

This piece represents the best of Colorado, with sunrises, mountains, streams, lush valleys, and the milky way from our dark skies. It is what we picture in our minds of idyllic Colorado. I think increasing access to the arts and innovative ideas for young people is extremely important! Supporting the community and providing resources allows the collective community to grow and improves all of us.

Instructor at Bemis School of Art for 13 years. Lifelong learner and devoted to supporting the arts in Colorado Springs. This is her hometown! Her work has been featured in Somerset Studio magazines numerous times and her work primarily with acrylics and mixed media. She loves encouraging artists, both adults and youth, to tap into their unique creative intuition and learn to trust it. Her garden butterfly "The Secret Garden" is inspired by the classic book of the same name. It is a story that represents a metaphor for life itself, and the intrinsic need people and living things have to be cared for. It is a story of hope, and friendship, where flowers refresh the spirit by tending to a neglected garden which brings health to broken souls.
Bringing beauty to the outdoor spaces is what motivates her involvement with Wings of Change. She first painted a butterfly. Georgia's Wings, in 2015 for the year of O'Keeffe at the Fine Arts Center. Margaret Sabin, CEO of Penrose Hospital purchased it for the atrium garden area at the hospital. "It was such an honor to have my piece purchased for a place of healing." In 2023 she felt led to paint a butterfly again, also with a Georgia O'Keeffe theme. It took her a while to figure out how to move forward for 2024 and what type of design to pursue. Then the Secret Garden came to mind, and with Wings of Change being the new format for painting butterflies, it was perfect...a time for her to change directions with her design too. She has taught The Secret Garden art class at Bemis to both children and adults for many years. It always brings out beautiful creativity in students and she sees their work blossom into little masterpieces. It is her hope that "The Secret Garden'' butterfly will land in a place where the purchaser will understand the beauty of caring for living things.

Kristina Storey works primarily in watercolor but enjoys creating in a wide range of media including acrylic. Her florals and landscapes reflect her love of color and nature, while her still life paintings combine luminous color with strong light and intricate detail. In acrylic she finds a medium that not only releases freedom and spontaneity but also shines forth with brilliant translucent color. A local Colorado Springs artist, she has been in many shows and won numerous awards over the past 20 years. She has been a participant of Flight for several years and is excited to be a part of Wings of Change this year.
Kristina's garden butterfly "Sunny Side Up" is inspired by a love of sunflowers and making a big bold statement. I participated in the past from 2013-2016. It's a great project to be involved with to support the community and the work of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs.

Born in Montana and raised in Colorado, she has been sketching, painting and performing since childhood, allowing her the opportunity to earn accolades, awards and scholarships as a young artist. As an adult, she pursued a career in animal law enforcement, becoming a State Agent with Colorado's Bureau of Animal Protection. She served as a voice for the voiceless, helping both people and animals in her community, and was featured as a lead officer on the Nat Geo Wild/Disney+ show, Rocky Mountain Animal Rescue. She was blessed with two beautiful daughters, and is currently a stay-at-home mother thanks to the encouragement and support of her husband. This has allowed her to reignite her passion for art, which serves as mindful meditation and bonding with her girls.
Sara's fluid paintings, featured in many local galleries, are inspired by surrounding landscapes and showcase the energy and beauty of the world around us. Her garden butterfly "Among The Trees" is inspired by the local landscapes we are lucky enough to be surrounded by here in Colorado. The colors chosen for this butterfly represent the color palette you may find on the forest floor when you escape into nature. Deep rich greens that seem to light up from within when the sun hits them, shimmering light seeping through thick branches, and bold shadows from the layers of rocks and leaves that cover the earth as we explore the mountains that define our region.
She grew up in District 11 schools. Her daughters will also be following in her footsteps at D11. Being an avid artist and musician, she understands how important it is, and how difficult it can be, to find adequate funding for arts and sciences within the school system. For years she has noticed the beautiful butterflies popping up around our city, but until recently had no idea what they represented.
It wasn't until she was doing live painting at Platte Collections Gallery during her exhibit there as a featured artist, that she had the opportunity to become acquainted with the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs and Wings of Change as members explored the gallery for the First Friday Art Walk and encouraged her to participate . "This is a wonderful chance for me to continue to support the community I live in, the arts that I love, and the chance for other students to have the same access to the amazing programs I was lucky enough to be a part of as a D11 student."

Jeanie has taken art classes at Pikes Peak State College. She has exhibited in several shows at the Downtown Studio and Cacao Chemistry. Jeanie has worked in public and school health as a registered nurse. Travel and community volunteer work are two of Jeanie's passions. Organic forms from nature and science inspire her work. Jeanie's garden butterfly, "Miro Wings of Change" is inspired by the artist Joan Miro. I wanted to place his whimsical and abstract designs on a butterfly. The art of Joan Miro brings together images of the real and the imaginary. His bright colors and abstract forms work well as colorful butterfly patterns.
She is a fan of community art and also wants to support the work of the Rotary Club of Colorado Springs. She understands the importance of arts education in our schools. She has completed garden size and petite butterflies and a dragonfly in previous years.

We are a team of three Colorado Springs artists. Lori Vafiades, Elizabeth Lutz and Sarah Joy are seasoned illustrators and teachers. We lead a group of artists through Sanctuary Studios where we conduct healing art and movement classes. Our team specializes in life-giving art and whimsical illustration. We are new artists with Rotary's Wings of Change but do have experience in creating art for public venues.
Our garden butterfly "Emerge" utilizes circles as a motif, representing the continuous cycle of life and growth. There are scenes of beginnings, symbolized by images such as a cocoon, a seed, and a sunrise heralding a new day. These visuals evoke themes of light, life, and hope, inviting viewers to contemplate the potential for transformation. There are also representations of fulfillment and fruition. Here, the butterfly spreads its wings in flight, surrounded by flourishing plants, vibrant communities, and diverse expressions of health and well-being. The before & after images embody the concept of emerging, illustrating the beauty that arises from embracing change and growth. Throughout the sculpture, intricate henna designs intertwine with the illustrations, weaving a cohesive visual narrative that unites the diverse elements of the artwork. This integration symbolizes the interconnectedness of all life and reinforces the message of unity and inclusion.
