Your donation provides one golf program, including putting practice, for a YC participant.

Program expenses include transportation, facility fees, and equipment costs.

Each YC program begins the same way - with a snack! A $50 donation stocks our snack closet with snacks for a full week of programs.

Some of our participants' and volunteers' favorite snacks include chips, fruit snacks, and crackers.

It costs $100 (and sometimes more) to fill up just one of YC's eight lift-equipped vans. A donation of $100 provides a fill-up for our vans that drive all over Northeast Ohio year-round.

Free transportation is utilized by 95% of the participants served by Youth Challenge. Without safe, accessible transportation, many of our participants would not be able to attend programs.

Youth Challenge is committed to providing both our participants and volunteers with unique and exciting experiences. A $250 donation supports volunteer training sessions for future Youth Challenge volunteers.

Before volunteering at Youth Challenge, teen volunteers take part in either a virtual or in-person volunteer training to learn about YC's culture, disability language, and empathy.

It costs approximately $30 to conduct a program for one participant at Youth Challenge, including transportation. A $500 donation provides more than 15 full programs, including transportation, for one participant.

In 2023, Youth Challenge participants engaged in an average of 56 hours of program time!

Youth Challenge's Inaugural Awards Banquet will be held on November 7, 2024, at our headquarters in Westlake, Ohio. The event will recognize twenty of our best and brightest participants with physical disabilities and teen volunteers with awards like Artist of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Athlete of the Year.
