Omaha's MADS ANDERSON likes to think of his work as a basis for sparking visual conversations, ones that engage viewers in dialogues about organization amid chaos-and vice versa. Anderson has always been fascinated by life's inherent dualities: the secure sameness that guides our everyday lives despite the underlying reality that anything, and everything, can change in an instant. Yet this chaos is in itself a constant, an unpredictability we can predict with absolute certainty. Through his paintings and sculptures, Anderson seeks to address this duality. JAMES BOCKELMAN is a professor of art at Concordia University Nebraska where he also serves as director of the Marxhausen Gallery of Art. He has been represented by Lo River Arts Gallery in Beacon, New York, the Karolyn Sherwood Gallery in Des Moines, and is currently represented by Circuitous Succession Gallery in Memphis, Modern Arts Midtown in Omaha, and Galerie Inga Kondeyne in Berlin. PAMELA CONYERS-HINSON is a lifelong teacher and award-winning artist who continues to bring arts education to underserved communities throughout the Midwest. BOB CULVER is a painter from Omaha, Nebraska. He served on the Bemis board of directors for many years, currently serves on the board of Nebraska Cultural Endowment, and is former president of the Museum of Nebraska Art board of directors. His body of work is distinctive for its seamless weaving of close-to-home influences and worldwide events, inspired primarily by pop artists of the '60s and '70s with a dash of great portrait painters such as John Singer Sargent. He creates richly detailed paintings, 3-D cutouts, and automata that all work on multiple levels. Simultaneously culturally idealistic and socially critical, they provide insight into the artist and the subjects that have informed his creative practice over the past five decades. Culver's work has been featured in numerous private collections. He has exhibited in solo and group shows at Modern Arts Midtown, Omaha, Nebraska. DARNstudio is a collaboration of artists David Anthone and Ron Norsworthy. Our work investigates the built, designed, or otherwise manifested world we live in, breaks down its components and uncouples them from their implicit and inherited meaning(s). We then reassemble in a way that disrupts its original function. Our work encourages alternative ways of understanding objects, ideas and structures through a process we refer to as "re:meaning." Through reassignment, remixing, inversion, or juxtaposition DARNstudio's work examines the purpose of things. DANCE DOYLE is an Oakland-based artist. Raised there during the '80s and '90s, they witnessed a gritty beauty that emerged from the city. That beautiful heavy environment has informed Doyle's work. They've never used a cartoon to aid her process. Doyle just draws a tiny picture, pins it to the castle of their loom, and works the rest out. FALLEN FRUIT (DAVID ALLEN BURNS and AUSTIN YOUNG) create art that often engages public realms, historical archives, and commissioned artworks for museums. MARCUS FISCHER is an interdisciplinary artist and musician based in Portland, Oregon. Working with/in installation, experimental film, photography, sculpture, sound, and archives, her practice takes on social and cultural themes, focusing primarily on the social effects of images and architecture. She implements processual feedback loops, glitches, erasure, and research as tools to question and subvert images and text, or to create new intuitive imaginations. She has exhibited internationally in places like the Giardini della Biennale in Venice, Museo Vizcainas Mexico City in collaboration with El Museo del Barrio NYC, the Salina Biennial in Kansas, Fred Simon Gallery in Omaha, and Salon Silicon in Mexico City. Past residencies and fellowships include The Luminary, The Lab Program, and Inside/Outside Fellowship at the Union for Contemporary Art.

Omaha-based artist CAMILLE HAWBAKER VOORHEES uses a variety of "craft" traditions from printmaking, book arts, and textile arts to create mixed-media works. ANNIE HAYES is a painter living in Upstate New York and SoHo, New York City. MARICA JOFFE-BOUSKA's mixed-media "icon series" of relief sculptures began as a response to "Missouri River Transit" from the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Sculpture Project. ETHAN JONES is a middle school art teacher with a background in graphic design and illustration (working mainly in the music industry, creating album covers and tour merchandise for bands). He currently works in a variety of mediums including acrylic painting, printmaking, mixed-media collage, and pen and ink illustration. Jones has also written and illustrated a children's book, "The Art of the Bedtime," which was self-published and sold approximately 500 copies. The inspiration for his work is rooted in punk rock, album covers, skateboarding, and children's books. Most of the imagery Jones uses is an amalgamation of colorful scenes and characters that could belong in children's books, McDonaldland, horror/nightmares, and punk. Jones's work appears to be kid-friendly, but has very sinister undertones and strong elements of dark humor. JEREMY JONES, originally from Casper, Wyoming, received a BFA in ceramics and sculpture from the University of Wyoming in 2006 and an MFA in sculpture from Wichita State University in 2012. JUSTIN N. KIM is a Korean-born painter who currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California. COURTNEY KUEHN is an artist based in Nebraska. AHN LEE (San Francisco, California) is a queer Cantonese artist and researcher. Their interdisciplinary ceramics practice is a combined methodology of autobiographical re-making and archival research on the Cantonese diaspora. Of Sunwui (Xinhui) descent, Lee explores their ancestral roots to this contested site of capitalism and imperialism through leveraging archival research, historiography, and critical race and gender theory. Though trained as an academic researcher, Lee aims to create with intuition, using critical history and personal narratives to imagine a current queer Cantonese futurity. JOSH POWELL is a mixed-media artist. He earned a BFA at the University of Nebraska Omaha. Powell is a visionary storyteller through his images. He is inspired by pop culture and folklore. BARBARA TAKENAGA is an abstract painter who makes images that are abstract and representational, microscopic and cosmic. LAURIE VICTOR KAY (b. 1971) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work blurs the lines between photography, painting, installation and digital mediums to address constructed imagination, idealization and a sense of the surreal. MELISSA GUADALUPE WOLF was born and raised in Leavenworth, Kansas and currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri.
