How it All Began
Joy was diagnosed with Invasive Lobular Carcinoma, Triple Positive Breast Cancer in July of 2019. As a Breast Cancer Thriver, Joy knows the importance of feeling supported during a very trying time in one's life. In the midst of her storm, Bringing JOY came to life. Joy has made it part of her life's mission to help bring a little sunshine to those diagnosed with cancer. She truly believes a little JOY goes a long way.

What We Do
Bringing JOY's mission is to help bring sunshine and JOY to patients diagnosed with cancer. From a coffee gift card to helping patients with rides to chemotherapy, and everything in between. We strive to support patients with cancer during a very difficult time in their lives and remind them they are not alone in their fight.

On a monthly basis, Bringing JOY provides Bags of JOY ($10 Gift Card and two self-care items) to Northwestern's Warrenville, Kishwaukee, Orland Park, Oak Brook and Delnor Cancer Centers; Endeavor Health's Edward-Elmhurst Naperville, Plainfield and Elmhurst Cancer Centers; Rush Copley's Aurora and Yorkville Cancer Centers and the Riverside Cancer Institute. Each month we provide over 200 Little Bags of JOY to the cancer centers to help bring their patients a little JOY during their treatment.

We also support Lurie Children's Pediatric Oncology Clinics and have supported Comer Children's Pediatic Oncology patients as well. We provide Bags of JOY to our Veterans with cancer at the Edward Hines VA in honor of Veteran's Day each year.

We are looking forward to hosting our 2nd Annual Brunch of JOY for Breast Cancer Thrivers and Survivors.

With your support we can continue to grow our giving to many more patients with cancer.
