Better than Sotheby's, this priceless piece was created exclusively for tonight by ISDenver students. These Middle Schoolers and G3-G5 art club students recreated the iconic Welcome to Colorful Colorado sign located at border crossings all over the state, with Ms. Tracy and Ms. Mac's guidance. Middle School students did the painting, while G3-G5 students created and colored the animals, which are collages on top of the painting. The painting style is inspired by the artist Alma Thomas and her abstract impresssionist style of painting!
