Fred is from Cheyenne, Wyoming. He is a retired Veterinarian and is a former Wyoming State Senator. Fred became interested in working with wood about 25 years ago. About 10 years ago, he started making turned bowls and plates. He is interested in unusual woods and tricky wood that make have bard, splits, or rot. Inlay is one of his commonly used techniques. His bowls are decorative and not food-safe. Avoid contact with liquids.
