Torch Run -REGISTER ONLINE BY OCTOBER 1 TO GUARANTEE YOUR RUN SHIRT!
The 2024 International LETR Conference Torch Run will carry the Flame of Hope through San Antonio, TX on Saturday, November 16 to help raise awareness for the local athletes. All Torch Runners must pre-register and will receive an official 2024 International LETR Conference Run Shirt. Registration is $40 each.
This event steps off at 10:30 a.m. at the hotel and walk as a group to the staging area located at Hemisfair Civic Park. Together, we will run in formation for 2.5 miles and conclude our route at the Alamo.
Torch runners will be treated to sack lunch by Texas Roadhouse and taken back to the hotel with them upon completing the Torch Run.
Unified Sports - Bocce
The Unified Sports Experience will take place at the Hemisfair Ballroom of the Henry B Gonzalez Convention Center on Saturday, November 16 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Registrants will have the opportunity to play two bocce ball alongside some of our amazing Special Olympics Texas athletes. Ladder golf will be played during your downtime.
Bocce Games Slots will begin at:
- 1:00 PM
- 1:40 PM
- 2:20 PM
- 3:00 PM
- 3:40 PM
- 4:20 PM
Pre-Registered attendees will be assigned time slots and emailed on Thursday of the conference. Onsite registrants will be assigned their time slot on a first-come, first-serve basis upon arrival. Each time slot will be 40 minutes long with games to be played in a 2 vs 2 format. This will go on until approximately 4:20 p.m. All officers are invited to join in the fun to see the benefits of this program and learn about how Unified Sports helps us reach more athletes and Unified Partners across the state.
