Sculpture by Farrah Fawcett

An opportunity to own a limited-edition reproduction of a 17" torso sculpted by Farrah Fawcett. Before becoming famous for her iconic red bathing suit poster the late actress and '70s icon, Farrah Fawcett, studied art at the University of Texas at Austin, where she became the muse and mentee of sculptor and professor Charles Umlauf. Although she left art school for Hollywood, Fawcett remained deeply committed to art throughout her life, continuing to sculpt, draw, paint, and maintain a studio. Her artistic career included a notable collaboration with sculptor Keith Edmier, which was exhibited at LACMA. Fawcett gifted one of her original statues to Burt Reynolds after they worked together on Cannonball Run, and only three of the original statues are known to be in public circulation.
