Custom-Designed Authentic Seeing Eye Leather Harness for Seeing Eye Graduates

Stars and stripes? Back to nature? Let your Seeing Eye dog stand out with a custom-designed, genuine Seeing Eye leather harness! The winning graduate will specify the design of their choice. Possible designs include, but are not limited to, pine boughs and cones, maple leaves, oak leaves and acorns, patriotic (U.S.A or Canada), Western Sheridan floral, Celtic, steam-punk (e.g., gears), biker (skulls and flames), roses and thorns, and more. The tooled leather harness can be dyed with bright colors or left in its natural color. The certificate expires 6/11/25.

This harness is only available to Graduates of The Seeing Eye. How it Wwrks after the design is selected, the artist will tool a design into the harness pieces. Tooling is done by drawing a design onto wet leather and then by means of small tools, sculpted into the leather. The tooled pieces will then be shipped to the Seeing Eye's harness maker to put it together. Please allow up to two months for completion.

About the artist: Hava Hegenbarth is an artist specializing in drawing, painting and leatherwork. Many of her pieces celebrate the work of The Seeing Eye. She began drawing animals while stationed abroad with the U.S. Foreign Service in locations including Australia, Rwanda, Tanzania and Mauritius. Now retired from the Foreign Service, Hava devotes her time to her art and raising guide dogs. She has donated many pieces of beautiful artwork over the years to support The Seeing Eye mission.
