After graduating with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) from New Mexico State University, Emille-Marie Enriquez saw the need to race to join other new nurses in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. A born native of New Mexico, Emille-Marie has made the Land of Enchantment a safe home for nurses by working with the Emergency Nurses Association at the state and national level to help prevent burn out. Hi, my name is Brian Colon, and I'm a lifelong New Mexican raised in Valencia County. I had the pleasure of graduating from Los Lunas High School - Go Tigers! I went on to earn my finance degree at New Mexico State University and later my law degree at The University of New Mexico School of Law. I am proud to have accomplished my father's dream before he passed away when I was just a teenager. He always took pride in encouraging me to be the first in our family to go to college. Before he passed away, my entire family moved to Florida to try to delay his passing, but I stayed here to pursue college. After my father passed, one of my mom's "lifelines" was the Meals on Wheels program. It provided balanced nourishment, but of equal importance, the volunteers who delivered her meals were a source of social interaction that became a highlight in her week.

Currently, I'm the Managing Partner of Singleton Schreiber's New Mexico offices. As managing partner, I oversee multiple statewide offices that focus on several different legal fields including personal injury-my passion. Prior to my time as managing partner, I was privileged to live my dream and serve New Mexico in public office. I was State Auditor of New Mexico and had the distinct honor of fearlessly advocating for New Mexicans against bad actors who sought to negatively impact our community. In addition, I have over 30 years of professional experience and an extensive background of service to local communities.

During my years of service, I have witnessed first-hand the importance of supporting non-profits that seek to uplift our state. In particular, I believe that Meals on Wheels is one of the best suited nonprofits that provides affordable, healthy, and timely meals for our growing elderly community in New Mexico.

Van Tate, KRQE News 13 Sports Director

Van Tate has been covering New Mexico sports for over 30 years. The Hobbs High School and University of New Mexico graduate says he was destined for a journalism career at an early age. While still a child, Van would tape-record his own version of the news. He called it, "the creepy scary news." "I really forgot all about that," said Van, "my mother played a recording for me after I got my first job in the business."

Van was a business major when he first arrived at UNM. He said he doesn't know why he switched to journalism. He said it was just a natural move. That move has given him a chance to cover the Indy 500, NFL games, Bowl games, NCAA Tournaments, and a long list of other exciting events.

You can catch Van doing sports Monday through Friday on KRQE News 13 and Fox New Mexico. He also has an online sports discussion called, "The Sports Office". His guest list includes a variety of people from the world of sports from NFL stars, College players, coaches, and even an occasional movie star. Some of Van's achievements include National Sportswriter and Sportscaster of the Year New Mexico (11-time winner), Albuquerque the Magazine Best of the City Sports Reporter (5 times winner), Associated Press Best Sports (5-time winner), and NMBA Best Sports (3-time winner).

Van loves music. He has experience playing 4 instruments but, is mostly known for his singing voice. Van also loves to bake during his spare time. It is always a sweet treat. He says baking is his therapy.

Jaden Bennett ("Miss Duke City") is a Freshman at UNM, Double Majoring in Film + Journalism & maintaining straight A's. She looks forward to competing for the title of Miss New Mexico this Summer, where her Community Service Initiative will be Food Insecurity, an issue that lies near & dear to her heart and closely aligns with the wonderful work of Meals on Wheels.

About Madyson, Miss Corrales:

Madyson Kettler is a senior at the University of New Mexico and will be starting Physical Therapy school next year. While attending school, she also works as a PT technician, teaches dance to young girls, and dances professionally with the New Mexico Ballet Company. She is also a guest artist with Magnify Dance Ensemble.

Mady is no stranger to the pageant world as she competed in the Cinderella program most of her life. Mady has held each age division State Title in New Mexico. She was the International Personality Baby winner when she was two years old, as well as the first runner up to the overall title. Most recently Mady was a semi-finalist to the overall title in the Woman division at the International Cinderella Pageant.

Mady has expanded her pageant journey and has joined the Miss America program. She is currently Miss Corrales and is preparing for the upcoming Miss New Mexico's pageant which will be held in Alamogordo this coming June. She is using this platform to grow awareness for geriatric health and physical fitness, through her community service initiative, Get Going. She is passionate about senior adults and is an advocate for research and opportunities for geriatric wellness.

In Mady's free time, she enjoys reading, playing the piano, spending time with her family, and taking her dog on walks.

Randy earned his BA in Psychology and MSW in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. He also received a degree in Microcomputer Management from CNM. Randy currently serves as a Financial Services Associate at Fidelity Investments and previously held development positions with United Way for 39 years in Tennessee, Alabama, Michigan, Delaware and New Mexico.

Randy is passionate about giving back and currently volunteers with Friends Feeding Friends; a meal program serving those experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque. He also volunteers taking care of six-week-old to six-month-old babies at Sagebrush Community Church each Saturday.

Randy has been married to his wife Jacqueline for 38 years and they have two beautiful daughters, Charlie and Andie. Randy enjoys singing, movies, doing handyman projects and spending time with family.
