Known for its terrain dotted by rocky outcroppings, the West Course is hilly and heavily wooded, rolling through thick stands of pine, oak, and maple trees. Four holes on the West Course (Numbers 2, 3, 6, and 17) are rated among the toughest on the PGA Tour during the course's long tenure as a host on golf's top professional circuit.

Head out for a day of golf west of Chicago, in the Oak Brook suburb of the city. Butler National Golf Club was the creation of Paul Butler, an affluent entrepreneur, philanthropist, and sportsman who was also the founder of the village of Oak Brook, Illinois.

George Fazio and his nephew Tom Fazio designed the course and it opened for play in the early 1970s. A mostly flat course, Butler National features deep bunkers, tree-lined and immaculately conditioned fairways (and greens), forced carries over water, and tons of length. Walking is encouraged but carts are permitted. The club is one of four all-male golf courses in the Chicago area.

In 1974, the Western Open began a run of 19 straight events at the Butler National Golf Club. During this time, Butler National earned its reputation as one of the most challenging golf courses in the country.

The Club at Wynstone was designed in 1989 by golf legend, Jack Nicklaus. The course weaves through the rolling hills, wetlands and mature oak stands of the property providing a memorable golf experience. His vision and respect for the natural topography of the land generated a championship golf course that is ranked as one of the "Best Courses in Illinois" by Golf Digest. The course underwent an extensive renovation in 2015 and is in impeccable condition.

Bid to win THREE (3) bottles of rare, vintage wines from two of California's most iconic vineyards:

Chateau Montelena and Jordan.

The lucky wine lover who wins this package will receive:

• Two (2) bottles of 2013 Jordan Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley Sonoma
• One (1) bottle of 1986 Chateau Montelena The Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The 92 rated 2013 Jordan Cabernet has been described as follows by Wine Enthusiast:

"This food-friendly wine is most remarkable for its structure and gracefulness on the palate. Herbal on the entry, it offers grip and elegance within sturdy elongated tannins, a note of brushy cedar and sage and integrated French oak. This wine offers intense aromas of cassis, black currants, blackberries and ripe cherries with a lovely floral note. The palate is rich and seductive, exuding blackberries and cassis interwoven seamlessly with fine tannins from new French oak barrels. A collectible vintage to be enjoyed now or cellared through 2032."

The 96 rated 1986 Chateau Montelena (by Wine Advocate) is described below:

"This great wine exhibits a black/purple color, a fabulous, sweet, pure, cassis-scented nose, massive body and richness, and total harmony among its components - fruit, wood, alcohol, acidity, and tannin. It is an extraordinary effort that appears to be a legitimate candidate for the 'wine of the vintage.' [Sweet on entry, then a bit simple in the middle, conveying a slightly jammy quality but good breadth and a touch of sweetness to its flavors of red fruits, warm rocks and ginger]."

Details:

• Winner receives 3 bottles of wine as described above.
• Winner must be local for pick-up or delivery as wine cannot be shipped.

The 92 rated 1985 Heitz Bella Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon (by Wine Spectator) is described as:

"Powerful and complex, with lots of ripe cherry, currant and spice aromas and flavors, hinting at chocolate and toast on the long, long finish. A big wine with plenty of grace and elegance. Approaching drinkability, but it has the structure and character 3,845 cases made."

Rated 86 by Wine Spectator, the 1986 Heitz Martha's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has been described as:

"Deep garnet, a full color; lovely nose, floral and minty - a very fine nose; lush, melting, concentrated, with gorgeous fruit on the palate, a touch of spice, mint, this is lush and long, elegant yet fleshy, odalisque. Quite Château Margaux-like in its fruit, with a violet-trimmed aroma."

Details:

• Winner will receive three bottles of wine as described above.
