Penn State football autographed by Tim Shaw and Todd Rucci.
Tim Shaw played alongside Bednarik Award winning linebackers Paul Posluszny and Dan Connor, on what many people consider the best Penn State linebacking corps of all time.
On August 19, 2014, Shaw revealed in a video that he has ALS. He then dumped a bucket of ice water over himself as part of the Ice Bucket Challenge. He has since been heavily involved in efforts to advance ALS research through better funding, and raise awareness about ALS, using different platforms. He is considered to be a champion of the cause and has impacted ALS communities throughout the country.
Todd Rucci played on the offensive line for Penn State from 1989-1992. Drafted in the second round of the 1993 NFL Draft (51st), Rucci was honored by being named to the New England Patriots 1990s All-Decade Team. His son, Nolan Rucci has announced that he will transfer from Wisconsin to Penn State for the 2024 season. He was rated the No. 1 prospect in Pennsylvania in the 2021 recruiting class. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
