A captivating pen and ink drawing that creatively depicts the city of Pittsburgh within the outline of a brain. This framed 18" x 22" reproduction features many iconic Pittsburgh attractions, including Kennywood, the National Aviary, Point State Park, and the Cathedral of Learning. A unique aspect of this piece is that the artist's face is subtly hidden within the drawing. An unframed answer key is also included to help find the hidden images.
The Book of Moon follows the journey of one young analong as she discovers the truth about family, the price of identity, the power of choice and the requirement of love to save the world. It is an allegory of mental illness in childhood; its characters and events are inspired by the author's experience as a child and teenager growing up with a mental illness. It was written with the intent to help create awareness of the isolation, discrimination and stigma experienced by the mentally ill in their everyday lives. The book is accompanied by an 11" x 14" signed illustration from the book.
