Golf at Somerset Hills CC
$1200Threesome Golf at Somerset Hills Country Club
In benefit of HWISPA-NJ Spring Garden Gala
Fair Market Value: $1,600.00
Starting Bid: $600.00
An accompanied round of golf for 3 people at Somerset Hills Country Club.
About the Club: Somerset Hills Country Club
Somerset Hills Country Club has a rich history that began over 100 years ago.
The club was formed in 1899 for social and recreational purposes. The founders were primarily New York City residents and, thus, the use of "country" in the name of their Club.
The Club was originally situated along the Raritan River, partly in Bernards and partly in Bedminster Township. In 1918, the Club changed locations and the Club was built at its current site. The golf course was designed by A.W Tillinghast and is consistently rated one of the top 100 courses in the country.
About the Course:
Somerset Hills Country Club is an A.W. Tillinghast creation and it's naturally natural with nothing brash or ostentatious about the course. With glorious green sites and a pretty layout, it's a course that's waiting to steal your affections.
Located in Bernardsville, New Jersey, Somerset Hills is perhaps one of Tilly's finest creations and it's a jewel that fits the contrasting land like a silk glove, where there's plenty of variation to keep everyone happy (length of holes and green sites), Somerset Hills is an unusual layout that flows cleverly around the flat, open, links-like terrain of a former racetrack for the outward nine and across hilly, dense woodland for the homeward half.

2009 Chateau Pichon Baron
$3502009 Chateau Pichon Baron
In benefit of HWISPA-NJ Spring Garden Gala
Fair Market Value: $300.00
Starting Bid: $150.00
This French wine is from the left bank Bordeaux appellation of Paulliac. 2009 is well documented as one of the great modern vintages in Bordeaux and as such the wines are highly sought after. Mix in a 'Super Second' producer like Pichon Baron and this is hot ticket. Long time Bordeaux critic, Neal Martin, just had the chance to revisit the wine at the beginning of this year and has this to say: "The 2009 Pichon-Baron continues to amaze - a benchmark wine of recent years…
This is evolving into one of the standouts of the vintage from Pauillac and unusually, it surpasses the 2010. "Incredibly intense, pure and flawlessly constructed with extravagant layers of fruit and richness, this offering has developed beautifully …It is a voluptuous, opulent Pichon Longueville Baron that may eclipse anything they have made in the past. This brilliant wine should be at its peak between 2018 and 2045." - Robert Parker 98 pts. Wine Advocate 95 pts James Suckling 96 pts Wine Enthusiast

In benefit of HWISPA-NJ Spring Garden Gala
Fair Market Value: $378.00 ($189.00 per hat)
Starting Bid: $150.00
We created LAOLAO STUDIOS to share this joy; to bring the warmth and tenderness these pieces carry far and wide, and to support the grandmother artisans in our ancestral city. With every stitch, we communicate the essence of family bonds, weaving together feelings of love to ensure these heirlooms are forever cherished and, eventually, passed on.
About the Brand
In Mandarin, laolao is an affectionate term for maternal grandmothers--and our story begins with my mother (my two children's loving laolao).
Separated from her first newborn grandchild by the isolated state of the world in 2020, she used her lifelong love of knitting to bind the family together. Her pieces were woven with the shared history of the other grandmothers in her knitting circle, as they taught each other new techniques, bonding over this meticulous craft and the joy it brought to their loved ones.
