- The back crest incorporates both the main symbol (handprint) and colors (gold) of Childhood Cancer. The gold ribbon on the front also represents fighting childhood cancer.
- The gold and silver textures illustrate the Knights organization taking part in the community battle against childhood cancer and all cancers.
