This lovely bowl was crafted from a black walnut tree by former SCC Board President Steve Kyle.
Steve taught himself to turn bowls on a lathe and we are lucky enough to be the beneficiaries of his beautiful work.

Self-taught from an early age, Hammond emulated Mad Magazine comic art before putting down roots in the skate/surf cultures of Sonoma, San Francisco, and Southern California, and their attendant music scenes. He currently works in Sonoma, Palm Springs and Santa Barbara.
