Juliet Lewis is a proven leader with 15 years' experience at Con Edison. She is responsible for managing local public, government, community affairs, charitable giving, and emergency preparedness. She works closely with a variety of educational, cultural, and business nonprofit organizations. She has also developed strong relationships with the Brooklyn Elected Officials and maintains support to their offices.
One of her key roles is to monitor and manages a $1M+ portfolio of corporate giving which include grants that support the company's philanthropic initiatives. She recruits volunteers for activities, plans and execute special events, and manage employee-supported programs as well as serve as Communication Officer during emergencies.
Externally, she currently serves as a Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce co-chair for the Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) Committee, as well as the Con Edison liaison for the Energy Committee. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Brooklyn Community Services where she serves on the Program Committee.
Juliet served as a Trustee of Kingsborough Community College for 10 years and held the title of Chair for her last year. She is a member of the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) and serves on the Scholarship Committee selecting future engineers to receive support for college.
Juliet started her community relations career in Queens at the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation and years later, went on to become St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center, Regional Director of Communications. During her tenure she worked with a variety of non-profit organizations to bring awareness to many health, human and social service issues. She received numerous awards and recognition for her efforts.
Juliet holds a Master of Arts in Health Services from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from St. John's University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and most importantly her plants and garden activities. She currently resides in Queens, NY with her family.
