Daniel is a two-year-old African Lion, and this is his second painting piece completed at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo.

He took artistic liberty by taking a bite out of the canvas to give it dimension.

Daniel and his siblings Chadwick and Regina arrived at the AGCZ two years ago and will play a critical role in the survival of their species due to their genetic importance.
