Patron is a Linnaeus' two-toed sloth and has a large personality. He uses a paintbrush to paint his masterpiece that his keepers have constructed just for him. When he isn't snacking on some of his favorite produce options, he enjoys sleeping and just hanging around.

These baby box turtles hatched right here at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo about 6 months ago.

This beautiful painting was created by magic and enhanced by zookeeper Rayne Beck who added pieces of Magic's shed to the painting.

Artist Bio:

Magic isn't just the biggest snake at the AGCZ, but it may be the most recognized. Magic has retired from the limelight but still came out to paint a beautiful masterpiece this year.

When Magic isn't hanging out in the pool, it can be seen stretched out in the enclosure. Yellow anacondas are native to South America and their genus name Eunectes means "good swimmer" in Latin.

Quill styled the perimeter of the canvas with his adorable blue nose boops. It was one of his very first paintings that we have been saving for a special occasion.

Artist Bio:
Pancake and Waffle, mountain coatis, are a little over eight years old and are sisters. They used their paws and tails to create these masterpieces. These girls are very curious and intelligent and enjoy sniffing out bugs, fruit, and other tasty treats often hidden by their keepers. With their specialized ankles and sharp claws, Pancake and Waffle are highly skilled climbers and can be seen sleeping in their highest enclosure points.
