With six bedrooms and five baths, the house sleeps 14, and is just a few minutes' walk to the beach and Tybee Pier.
Sleep In the Past, Play in the Present. Built at the turn of the 20th century, the Old Magnolia Place was renovated in 2005, but the 1900s charm remains intact. It's as welcoming and comforting as Grandma's house, just at the beach.
Donated by Steve Franklin and located at the popular south end of Tybee, this spacious and beautifully restored boarding house is two blocks from the beach and three blocks from Back River. It's an easy walk to shops and the pier, and other popular island destinations, from the lighthouse to the old coastal battery, are a quick bike ride away.
Original flooring, bead board walls, wrap around porches, and a claw foot bathtub remind guests of a simpler time, while central AC, a modern kitchen, Wi-Fi, and DirectTV provide all the comforts of home.
Each room has its own entrance to the porch, for easy access to the beach, Back River, lighthouse, or pier.
