The Spring Mill course features an outstanding set of par 3's, and the par-5 3rd and par-4 4th are two of Flynn's best. There is also a 3rd nine, the Centennial, designed by Tom Fazio to mark the club's 100-year anniversary in 1991. Byron Nelson won the U.S. Open at Philadelphia Country Club in 1939.
