Since 1987, the Lyric Opera Circle has hosted the Lyric Opera Ball, raising funds to help Lyric Opera of Kansas City bring the magic of opera to the community. For the 2024 Ball, we are thrilled to announce the theme, "A Toast to Opera," which celebrates the rich history and enduring beauty of the timeless art form of opera. With your support, our goal is to continue creating unforgettable experiences for our audiences, highlighting the best of opera's grandeur and passion.
"A Toast to Opera" will be a special tribute to the countless composers, singers and musicians who have dedicated their lives to this extraordinary art, and to the Lyric Opera, which has provided transformational opera experiences and educational opportunities that capture the hearts and minds of our diverse community.
This season, the Ball will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in the historic Muehlebach Tower, Kansas City Marriott Downtown. The Ball promises to be an elegant and celebratory affair, complete with a curated silent auction with unique and thoughtfully chosen items, opera performances, dinner and dancing.
