"Rare Bobble Head 1914-2014 Red Grange" Wrigley Field 100 Bobblehead Series 1920s RED GRANGE: Oct. 27, 1923: The University of Illinois, behind three touchdowns by sophomore Red Grange, defeated the Northwestern Wildcats 29-0 at Cubs Park before 32,000 fans. The game, originally scheduled to be hosted by NW University, was moved to Cubs Park after U of I ticket requests exceeded 10,000 (NW Univ field could only hold approx. 17,000 fans). This game was slated to be Northwestern's homecoming game but was moved to a later date once the location changed.
