This twin-size packer blanket was made by Sister Marguerite Rollo from Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross. Sister Marguerite has many talents including nursing and cosmetology. She has been the night manager of Altrusa House in Green Bay and volunteered at St. Paul's Home in Kaukauna. Since retiring, she has been crocheting hats and mittens for children in the Green Bay Public School District and cancer patients at St. Mary's hospital.

Donated by Sister Agnes Fischer from the Convent at Bay Settlement. Sister Agnes has been a 30-year missionary to Nicaragua, where she has inspired people through many difficult years, natural disasters and war. Since retiring, she has learned the skill of tatting and these two pieces illustrate the intricate detail of her work. As a member of the Bay Area Tatting Society she helps teach this lovely skill at the Learning in Retirement Center and at ADRC.

Donated by Sister Marilyn Herr from Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Cross these will make a great gift for a new baby. Sister Marilyn has been the staff chaplain at St. Vincent Hospital from 1995-2015 and still volunteers with St. Vincent de Paul. The caps and booties that she knits are also donated to Love Life.

This entire train set, track and bridge have all been hand done by Steve Brickner. The train is an Early American Standard 440 engine, tender car, and pullman. Types of wood used in this model include walnut, maple, wenge, ebony, purpleheart, and padauk. Steve never sells his trains. He has donated replicas to museums in Suring and Gillet, and to other parishes, organizations and clubs. This is his first donation to Catholic Charities. At almost 3 feet long, this one-of-a-kind piece will be a talking point in your home or office for years to come.
