Our Work in the Community
We empower 3,000 employees at companies and organizations with the knowledge and skills to improve their mental well-being, and to recognize when to seek help for themselves or others, through the annual presentation of 180 seminars.
We connect 600+ Help Line callers to vital mental health information and services, and we make follow-up calls to offer further assistance when needed.
We provide essential financial management services for 160 individuals with serious mental illness to ensure basic needs for safe housing, food, utilities and clothing are met and, when combined with the guidance of a case manager, we are the gateway to stabilization and improved health.
We break the isolation of serious mental illness though our statewide peer-to-peer BRIDGES program that empowers individuals to take active roles in their treatment and recovery.
We activate a grassroots advocacy force that gives thousands of people a way to voice their support for improved mental health services.
We publish News You Can Use each week to provide valuable mental health information to 8,700 individuals. It keeps mental health top-of-mind, maintains our connection with individuals and encourages them to take action on local, state and national policy matters.
