ABOUT A TRIBUTE TO OUR QUIET HEROES
The 14th annual "A Tribute to Our Quiet Heroes" will take place September 29, 2018 from 11am-2pm at Flourish Atlanta. It is truly a one of a kind event. Nearly 600 people will gather to pay tribute to the strength and courage of mothers of children with cancer. It is a day to honor those women whose love and tireless dedication guide their families through an unimaginable journey. Importantly, the day will also raise much needed funds for life-saving pediatric cancer research.

ABOUT CURE CHILDHOOD CANCER
Founded in 1975, Atlanta-based CURE Childhood Cancer is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through funding targeted research and through providing crisis-oriented support to patients and their families.
CURE was established in 1975 as a grassroots organization with one crystal-clear mission: to save lives. At the time, the survival rate of children with cancer was a bleak ten percent. Our founders were determined to change that. With a very real sense of urgency, CURE focused on improving the care and quality of life - as well as the survival rates - of children with cancer.
Now, forty years later, we've helped increase the childhood cancer survival rate to 80%. While that may sound impressive, it's not good enough for us. Nothing less than 100% will ever be good enough. That's why, over the years, we've expanded our mission to focus more heavily on research. It's through research that we'll find the cure for childhood cancer - and reach that 100% survival rate goal we're so committed to.
